I'm wondering how they did that...

If someone ran an HMI with band pass filters and transistor actuated switching and cable or if they took a video and CGI the lights in time with the music.

Both are tedious but highly doable.
I'm not sure but I noticed some equipment in front of each bus, so I think they were all hooked up, something like a fireworks display? that is coordinated with the music and the detonation of each one.

The snow being on the ground...
They plug those busses in at night for the diesel engines to begin with.

But you can be correct as well.
Either method would work.

What a cute video. I wish all the winter months were filled with lights and festivities without the shopping. After Christmas it really seems to turn into the doldrums.
I've always said that it's the stuff we do getting ready for Christmas that's the most important and fun...
That's where all the happy memories come from.
Christmas day itself is the letdown. Other than the presents we gave that were met with tears.

But all the cookies, candies, decorating and stuff...that's the fun part.

I totally agree, I'm hoping with this being such a dark year that people will keep their lights up for awhile, it doesn't have to end on New Years Day!

It's the magic of anticipation of what could be. It's said that there are three basic things a person needs to live (besides, God, Food, shelter, etc) and that is

1. Something to Do
2. Something to look forward to
3. Someone to Love

It's #2 that we feel around this time of year. :)
