True. I am not God but I share Gods' Word and God's Word is not mine but God's and God's Word testify that my words are true.
The thing is - the bible quotes the devil quoting scripture to Jesus, and Jesus refuting the devil with scripture. So there's a missing element in your ideology.

And so it will always be. Yet I know who I believe and follow and God's Word and Spirit testify to my words that they are true. You shall know them by their fruits. Those who follow God do not practice sin (breaking God's commandments) *1 John 2:3-4; 1 John 3:6-9

Imitating the gospel of John does not give you the authority of John, since you are not John who wrote the gospel.

Johns authority was Gods Word. My authority also rests in Gods Word, and my Spirit rests in his Word which are not my words but his who sends me *John 3:34; John 6:63. God's sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him. Those who do not hear will not follow according to the scriptures *John 10:26-27.

There's a certain quality when a prophet speaks, this makes someone not want to sin anymore.

However, when a regular person speaks just wanting to be right, it results in the same fruit as the original event of partaking of good and evil in the garden.

So when the bible is taught as the fruit of good and evil, it results in rebellion.

If you wish to inspire repentance, do more research - the answer is indeed in the bible.

According to God's Word (not mine). He came unto his own but his own received him not. Our fathers killed the prophets and JESUS because they closed their eyes and ears to hearing God's Word, but those who God reveals his Word (son) hear His Voice and follow him. According to the scriptures the servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him but this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light (the Word), neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved but he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are worked in God

Dualling monologues is hardly entertaining conversation, there's always a strawman or two in the inferences.

Thanks for more scripture, it's very helpful - I'll use my interpretation - not yours.

God's Word dear friend is neither monologue or strawman and your words are not Gods Word. As posted earlier you are free to believe as you wish I do not judge you. It is God's Word not mine that is our judge come judgement day according to the scriptures *John 12:47-48 Do you want to discuss the OP? (scripture please)

I'm not sure if I want to discuss anything with you, just reading that - it's pretty dishonest.

Summary: Your words are not scripture, but when I speak it is scripture.

God's Word is not dishonest, as it is written He who God sends speaks the Word of God and God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him. Therefore, let God be true, but every man a liar; That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged. For me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it. Let me know when you have some scripture to share for your tradition. Until then we will have to agree to disagree.

Sabbath Observance Through The Centuries - The Fourteenth Century A.D.

WALDENSES
"That we are to worship one only God, who is able to help us, and not the Saints departed; that we ought to keep holy the Sabbath day." Luther's Fore-runners," p. 38

INSABBATI
"For centuries evangelical bodies, especially the Waldenses, were called Insabbati because of Sabbath-keeping." Gui, Manueld' Inquisiteur

BOHEMIA, 1310 (Modern Czechoslovakia)
"In 1310, two hundred years before Luther's theses, the Bohemian brethern constituted onefourth of the population of Bohemia, and that they were in touch with the Waldenses who abounded in Austria, Lombardy,. Bohemia, north Germany, Thuringia, Brandenburg, and Moravia. Erasmus pointed out how strictly Bohemian Waldenses kept the seventh day Sabbath." Armitage, "A History of the Baptists," p.313; Cox, "The Literature of the Sabbath Question," vol. 2, pp. 201-202

NORWAY
Then, too, in the "Catechism" that was used during the fourteenth century, the Sabbath commandment read thus; "Thou shalt not forget to keep the seventh day." This is quoted from "Documents and Studies Concerning the History of the Lutheran Catechism in the Nordish Churches," p.89. Christiania 1893

Now here is the correct interpretation...

GALATIONS 4:4-11
[4], But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, [5], To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. [6], And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. [7], Therefore you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. [8], BUT THEN, WHEN YOU KNEW NOT GOD, YOU DID SERVICE UNTO THEM WHICH BY NATURE ARE NO GODS. [9], BUT NOW, AFTER YOU HAVE KNOWN GOD, OR RATHER ARE KNOWN OF GOD, HOW TURN YOU AGAIN TO THE WEAK AND BEGGARLY ELEMENTS, TO WHICH YOU DESIRE AGAIN TO BE IN BONDAGE? [10], YOU OBSERVE DAYS, AND MONTHS, AND TIMES, AND YEARS. [11], I AM AFRAID FOR YOU, LEST I HAVE BESTOWED UPON YOU LABOR IN VAIN.

GALATIANS 4:8-11 [8] Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.[9] But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? [10] YE OBSERVE DAYS, AND MONTHS, AND TIMES, AND YEARS. [11] I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Note: Galatians 4 says nothing about sabbaths. Its speaking of those who observe times before they knew God, therefore when they were unbelievers v8-10 not after they knew God and began following God's Word. So it cannot be a reference to believers following God's Word. So what is Paul referring to when these people knew not God or before they were believers....

DEUTERONOMY 18:9-11 [9] When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.[10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, OR AN OBSERVER OF TIMES, or an enchanter, or a witch,[11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

Note: The same thing goes on to this very day. Its speaking of the occult. Those who observe certain days by use of horoscopes?

2 CHRONICLES 33:3-6 [3] For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.[4] Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.[5] And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.[6] And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: ALSO HE OBSERVED TIMES, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger

Note: Enchantments, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and wizards. Its speaking of the occult. Not following sabbath days.

LEVITICUS 19:26-30 [26] Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, NOR OBSERVE TIMES.[27] Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.[28] Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.[29] Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a harlot; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.[30] YE SHALL KEEP MY SABBATHS, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

I guess this scripture says it all. You shall not observe times BUT you will keep my sabbaths.

Your welcome
What says we must believe your 'correct' interpretation?

Of course you have free to believe and do as you wish dear friend and I do not judge you. This is because the scriptures teach that we all answer only to God come judgment day for the Words of God we accept or reject according to John 12:47-48. For me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow them *Romans 3:4; Acts of the Apostles 5:29. According to JESUS if we follow man-made teachings and traditions that lead others to break the commandments of God we are not worshiping God in Matthew 15:3-9. Something we should all pray about I guess.

More accurately, your interpretation of Gods word. Of course, you dont know all of God's Word. Only Scripture.
I was going to press funny then I realized you were serious, don’t misinterpret the optimist.
