Brothers and sisters, I propose the following change: The Sabbath is the Eden 7th day of the week, from sundown 6th Day, to sunset 7th Day in Israel. I agree with that statement.

I don't think this will be feasible and could confuse many who might want to participate. It couuld be a topic discussed in that proposed forum however.
If promotion of legalism is allowed in such a "protected" forum and a counter "protected" forum not allowed to reject legalism is not made I'm against it 100%.
As was stated there is already a forum to debate about the law and the true Sabbath. Many say that Sabbath keeping is legalism but legalism is something you do to
earn your way to heaven. The hundreds of different Sabbath keeping Churches that know the
blessings of keeping God's Sabbath
do not keep the day
to earn entrance into the kingdom but
keep the day because they love God with all their heart, soul and might. Salvation is a free gift and so there is nothing we can do to earn our entrance into the kingdom as we are justified by faith and not by works of the law. But does this mean we do not have to obey the law? Thankfully, Paul made the answer to this question clear and informs us that
we do not make void the law through faith.
We already have a protected forum for those who are Torah observant. That would be the MJ forum. The proposed forum is a meeting place for all those who observe the 7th day Sabbath. Not all who observe the seventh day are MJs and SDAs. Even if they were; those two groups have to be careful of what they say in each others dedicated forums. Some seventh day obedient have no home at all on CF. We want a place where the seventh day obedient can share with each other, at ease, without being interrupted by those who reject what we hold in common.
There are many Denom, or congregations that observe the 7th day, the Day set Apart, the very First Day the L-RD God called 'HOLY'.

Administration are still discussing the best way to (if) set this forum up. As you can see, we have a LOT of forums here, so we don't take creating a new one lightly any longer. We want to ensure that it will have enough traffic, and that the Statement of Purpose is adequately worded before we make it "live".
We do not have a large staff here, and we all have daytime jobs and families, so it can take longer than we all might otherwise like.
Hi Steven, It might be a good idea to make a poll in the S&TL forum, the SDA forum and the MJ forum to get an idea of how many might be interested? Perhaps some other forums I can't think on right now, maybe Baptist?
The more I look at this; the more think that we need more than a thread. I think that we need a dedicated forum; or maybe we could modify the Sabbath and Law forum with thread tags, sort of like the Messianic Forum.
If it was done with tags in the Sabbath and Law forum; we could do the same for law keepers. I know of several members, right off the top of my head, who keep YHWH's law; but who don't fly under the label of Messianic.
A thread is more of an ongoing chat, not really suited for discussing the finer points of the Sabbath. A forum would definately be the way to go!
