I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
John 10:28-30

So I was wondering if that includes yourself? I believe I may have committed the eternal sin, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I cussed him out. But I was saved when I was like 4. It says "no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand." Does that include myself?

What about Satan? Can that verse be applied here? (Satan can't snatch them out of His hand...and does that include me?)

Anyway, I look forward to getting some good replies. I need the insight.

It does include you. Repent of whatever blasphemy you may have committed, God will forgive you. If for some reason he didn't forgive you, it's not as if you could do anything about it, so it's not as if you should live your life differently.

You, and all of us, are but children. God takes you seriously in ways you don't know, and not so much in the ways you think dignify you. If your child screams at you in a rage, "I hate you!", do you take them seriously and think your relationship is over? Do you throw them out of the family for their rebellion?

What God has begun he will complete. (BTW he is doing this for his own sake, not so much yours, so you know he will complete it.)

definition of 'contrite'
"feeling or expressing remorse or penitence; affected by guilt."

I feel like this applies :
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Psalm 147:3

That pretty much seals the deal, right?

I need to know without doubt that I am going home. (heaven).

Don't be cussing the Holy Spirit out. He doesn't like it. Repent and pray for forgiveness.
I was in a somewhat rage. I cussed out God, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus. Does this mean I am going to hell? Can you receive forgiveness for such a blasphemy?

This life is not about you. You are here for God's use. The fact that you don't know might just be part of what God does to work on you. To make you what he wants is more important than your comfort and security.

Blasphemy is calling Jesus Christ the devil. No one does that anymore. I mean some might, but can they come back and turn from the Darkness? Yes, I believe so.

You are good, loved, cared for by God even if you had a bit or rage.

Did you know there is a time for everything in a single persons lifetime?

Eccesiates 3:1-8
For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

I am not sure what the time for kill means it would be nice if someone enlightened me on that, may it means to kill off bad things in your life like toxic relationships, or kill for food? We do that as humans too, its not good to kill others, we can kill others by our hate sometimes.

We are all messy.

1 John 3:9

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

If I am reading this correctly, it says that it's impossible to sin, after being saved (and I got saved when I was 4 or 5) ...

This sounds too good to be true. Again, if I am reading this correctly, it means that I haven't committed the unforgivable sin, since I *can't* commit a sin(s)... -- remember, I cussed out the Holy Spirit.

But yet after being saved, I can never sin?

That doesn't sound right. But if somehow it is ... that's a godsend.

Get back to me! I need more scripture. I'm looking around myself, but I also would like to get some more input. :)

The Greek tense is, "does not continue to sin", meaning something along the lines of, "does not live that way". It also says, "if we say we have no sin, we make him out to be a liar." No Scripture is stand-alone, when it comes to interpretation.

Yes I believe it does.
Did something similar like 10 years ago when I was drunk. Basically I cursed Him and called him everything that I was...
Today I am sober, and I believe God works a person's salvation out through their lives
Heh.
Thank God that God is God.
If it was me and my little creation had been down there yelling that stuff up at me you wouldn't be able to find the bottom of the hole I'd blast him to lol.
But God is God, and not me.
And I am Me and not God
It was all just a big misunderstanding
Thank God that's over
:)
