The philosophy that spawned that understanding isn’t biblical, mate. It’s a fiction. You’re well loved by the Father, He proves this by sending His son for you.

Don’t let man made traditions rob you of confidence and peace in the Father and His Son. I won’t go deep into the topic and derail your thread, but if you have time, read through this topic and you’ll find the source of your worries (why it’s wrong is explained too.)

God knows our hearts. We aren't all expected to be able to recite the entirety of the Holy Scriptures. We are to learn from them, and understand the message that they are trying to convey to us.

Please understand that what you're referring to is predestination, or predeterminism. Personally I don't believe our God would create some of us knowing that a portion of the ones created were doomed before they were ever given a chance. Our Father is a God of love, and loves us all as His children, and I can't imagine a Father who doesn't, or wouldn't love His children. We can only live our best lives free of sin for God, and Christ, and for the beauty that God created which entails this reality, and especially each other who are His children, and our brothers, and sisters.

Please don't worry as our Father loves us.

Hello Charles,

Below is a passage that mentions that word' predestined'. Please note that it talks about you being chosen to be holy and blameless by God because he loves you. There is no passage saying that anyone is 'predestined to hell'. God Bless

Ephesians 1: 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

May I ask you what you think makes you a Christian?
Is it because of your skin colour or your nationality or because you attend a church?


Or could it be what you believe about Jesus?


Have you sat down and talked with your minister, the person who preaches at the church you attend, about your believes.

i can't remember not one scripture from the book,and sometimes i feel that it's more of a have to and not a want to for me to pray and read the bible and i'm so nervous that i won't have the chance to go to heaven when the time comes.
i stopped reading the bible for a few days then i seen a live feed on tiktok about a girl preaching and praying and something she said just made me cry BUT i can't remember what it was...

What God is really interested in is sincerity; what are you doing with your life and why are you doing it? The best thing you can do is take some time to read through the 4 gospels, (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) and make a note of each time Jesus tells his followers to do this or not do that.

When you've finished the 4 gospels, read through the list and ask yourself if you're prepared to act on those teachings. If not, then you should stop worrying about what God thinks about you. If yes, then there is no need to worry; you just get busy with following Jesus' teachings and you'll be fine.

Listen to the bible on cd or go to bible gateway and listen to the bible starting from the old testament. You don't have to remember the scriptures. There are some people who like to quote scriptures all the time. Pray to God To give you understanding. You will learn more from the Holy Spirit than the bible anyway. I suggest that you don't go to the church, because that's all they do is learn and learn and learn. They never grow up. Pray that the Holy Spirit teach you. But I must warn you when the Holy Spirit teach you, he teaches you indeed, So if you are not ready to learn I suggest that you forget about it, because sometimes you will get knocked down. His teaching does not come back to him void.
