Looks like Trump lawyers might face sanctions

As lawyers keep pushing Trump election challenges, calls for sanctions mount

Trumps lawyer that have been suing for supposed mass voter fraud may have gone over the line. Given the number of suits with little or no evidence, as well as the number of errors in some of the filings, it is looking like the lawyers that are continuing to sue may be sanctioned against or even debarred.

It's not even an issue of filing a bunch of frivolous lawsuits. It takes a lot for a lawyer to be sanctioned. If they do get sanctioned, they did something pretty bad and it's on their own heads. Powell risks sanctions more for things like including people in the list of plaintiffs that never agreed to be part of the lawsuit, submitting altered evidence (i.e. her claim that GA never certified the voting machines because it didn't have a date on the certification while submitting an image of the certification with the date cropped out), or trying to uses other cases as support of her claims without mentioning that said cases had already been ruled on and not in her favor.

I gotta follow these more closely. I hadn’t even heard of half of these but I guess Giuliani’s farts tend to steal all the thunder. It honestly makes me wonder just how easy is it to get a law license if these clowns managed to do it.

There are some very entertaining lawyers in Twitter going through all the various cases, rulings, and filings. The threads are pretty eye opening as to how utterly inept the Trump side had been. They are royally screwing up basic things.

So far I’ve only seen the LegalEagle breakdown of these cases and yeah it’s pretty staggering the ineptitude on full display by the president’s lawyers. It’s no surprise Barr and the DoJ are keeping a good distance between them and the lunacy of the Trump legal defense team. Anyone you recommend on Twitter I should follow?

Mike Dunford has been great for his own analysis. He sticks largely to general legal procedure, since election law isn't his specialty (he'll note when he's not familiar with something). He did an epic analysis of the GA Kraken lawsuit and has done a twitch stream or two with lawyers that are more specialized in election law. He'll also retweet other lawyers who are going through the documents.
