In this age we have been bombarded with technoligical advances that seduce and a failing societal moral compass. What is the Lord's plan for salvation today/?
That few be saved. Does he ask when he returns if he will find faith on earth? Luke 18:8

Possible. I've read some good posts over the years that suspect there would be a time that "it is finished". There might not be any saved today, how does that fit?

The churches are full of false doctrines. Especially since the 1800s. Compare today with the Ecumenical Creeds of the early centuries.
good that is what i want to compare. why is the council of orange the turning point of the church?

same as 2k years ago.
We were told that it will be like in days of Noah when he comes back so its getting worse and worse and will be only worse and more depravity.

If you think about it there never been country where officially same sex marriage was allowed so it's even worse than Sodom.

At least they forced wifes/daughters to marry and have sex with men apart from indulging in same sex activities.

I agree for the most part, I'll throw out the .o2. How do we reveal Christ to demons of this age?

The church is growing spiritually and in numbers rapidly in Communist China, Africa and in parts of India and the middle east, the main issue is with the West.
There are still lots of hurting people, since all mature adults do stuff which hurts others (sin) and this weighs on the conscience at least until they harden their hearts. Hopefully they become seekers, but can they find help with those few sincere Christians left in the West? Are we seeking after them?

That is such an excellent question that FEW in the church are
asking... but was always PART of the Gospel of the Bible.

The Bible teaches the saints go into "all the world" preaching the
Gospel and saving all of "His Sheep" [Mark 16:15-16]. However,
the Bible also teaches that when the "testimony" of the church is
"finished" [Rev 11:7] and all the Saints have been "saved/sealed"
[Rev7:1-3], then the Revelation Beast and/or the Great Tribulation
"Kingdom of Heaven" [Mat 25:1] would begin as the LAST of the
"wheat and tares" follow the Antichirst as the "went forth" from
their churches INTO the Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven"
and/or the 7-Headed Revelation Beast [Mat 25:1-13].

However, this Great Tribulation/Revelation Beast could NEVER
begin until (a) all the elect were "sealed/saved" [Rev 7:1-3] and
(b) the Holy Spirit was "taken out of the way" [2 Thess 2:6-9]
so that Satan could then be "loosened" from the Bottomless Pit
[Rev 9:1-2] to begin the Great Tribulation and/or Revelation Beast,
which is also shown as Satan's "Little Kingdom" [Rev 20:3] when
Satan, and his chief emissary on earth, are given "dominion" over
[Dan 7:6] the last "wheat and tares", who are called "ten virgins"
[Mat 25:1] and the "ten Kings/Horns" [Dan 7:24-25] and, again,
the "ten Kings/Horns" [Rev 17:12] who are RULED by Satan and
his Antichirst to the point they "give their power and strength to
the Beast
" [Rev 17:13] and even "agree to give their KINGDOM
to the Beast
" [Rev 17:17].

I could show MUCH more, about how Satan and the Antichrist
"pollute the Sanctuary" and RULE over the Last Saints for a period
called 3.5 "times/days/years/watches of the night" and how this
Revelation Beast is destroyed just AFTER the last saints are taken
in the Final Harvest. And there is a "time-of-the-end" or a period
called the "Season and Time" on earth AFTER the Beast is destroyed
but BEFORE the "Kingdoms of Man" (all the world governments) are
destroyed... this is the period BETWEEN Rev 19:20, when the Beast
is cast into the Lake of Fire - and Rev 20:10, when Satan and all the
governments of man JOIN THE BEAST in the Lake-of-Fire.

Obviously there is MUCH more about these EVENTS in the Gospel
of the Bible... more than I can "reveal" in this brief post. But the
Bible PROMISES only the Last Saints "shall understand" these
Biblical mysteries at the "time-of-the-end" [Dan 12:8-10] and
Jesus PROMISED only the Last Saints "shall see all these things"
[Mat 24:15 and 24:33] which occur immediately BEFORE His
Return in Glory. And God PROMISED that the Last Saints shall
preach all these Biblical mysteries (and more) when the Seventh
Trumpet "begins to sound" [Rev 10:7-11].

The POINT to all of this is (a) it was ALWAYS a major PART of the
Gospel and (b) only the LAST SAINTS "shall understand" these
Biblical Truths as they remained "closed up" and "sealed" to all
previous Saints until the "time of the end" or "Season and Time".
... which is WHY these Biblical mysteries were never preached
in the churches.

Thank you to those who've chosen to have a conversation.....very very refreshing for me. If y'all don't care, I'll not quote and respond, but try to keep the overall question at the forefront. As a progressive reformed (my term) I'm curious about Rev 7 and it's timing. I don't want to get too far into eschatology here...... and just like our politics in the United States of America things aren't necessarily what they seem. Let's keep talking, Bling, you were talking of China, do you suppose there is a fleeing from socialism or "lost sheep" being found?

The timing of Rev7 is not hard to understand.
Verses 1-3 show the Great Tribulation/Revelation Beast
cannot begin until all the saints have been sealed/saved.

That means the church age has ended and all the lost sheep
have been found and saved.

This is also shown in Rev 11 (I hope you understand that
Revelation is not revealed in chronological order... this is
easily shown). In Rev 11 we see the "two witnesses"
(two candlesticks and two olive trees represent the church)
have "finished" their "testimony"... again showing the last
of the lost sheep have been found and the church age is done.

This is again confirmed in 2 Thess 2:6-9 which reveals the
Holy Spirit must be "taken out of the way" before Satan is
"loosened" from the Bottomless Pit [Rev 9:1-2] to begin
his "Little Season" [Rev 20:3] which is also shown as the
Great Tribulation "Kingdom of Heaven" [Mat 25:1] and
the 7-Headed Revelation Beast.

You said you did not want to get into too much eschatology
so I will end here. The short answer to your question about
WHEN Revelation 7 occurs is: the END of the church age and
the BEGINNING of the Great Tribulation/Revelation Beast.

BTW: that means there is no salvation during the Great Tribulation
and/or Revelation Beast because all the saints have been "sealed"
before the Great Tribulation begins [Rev 7:1-3]. The GT is also
called the "night cometh, when no man can work"... representing
saving souls through preaching [John 9:4]. In fact the Lord also
called the Great Tribulation the "four watches of the night"...
with His Return about half-way through the fourth "watch",
which is represented as 3.5 "times/days/years/watches".
