Are these your words?

Are you human?

How do I know?

Funny :) If you do not care to have a rational discussion, please say so.... I'll ask again:

I trust we agree that humans wrote the Bible? Above and beyond this, is it [even possible] the Bible was [not] given by some external source? But instead, written by humans, and humans alone; just like every other book for which you reject as god's word? It's a (yes or no) question really.

We are talking about words, are we not?

You want to know how I know the Bible is God's Word...yes?

How do we know that any words are anybody's words?

These words you see on the screen...are they human?

Please stop with the games. If you care to reduce this entire conversation to 'nothing can be proven', then I guess this will go NOWHERE fast.

Let me nip this line of 'reason' in the bud... What degree or level of confidence do you conclude that the Bible is the Word of God, and why?

Well, if these words on screen are human. How did they come to us?

Via AI, yes?

*Is everything we make also human...like my ebike?

Quite honestly, I see what you are saying.

However, I gather you are more-so doing this to avoid an uncomfortable line of questioning :)

I'm quite comfy, thanks.

I have to re-address the OP and EWS. Is it even possible your 'inward witness' and 'experiences with the Spirit' could be something other than God?

EWS, in a nutshell, exposes that any/all felt/perceived 'external causes' can have an infinite number of plausible answers. So why are you so hasty to conclude that all such 'feelings' are from your believed upon God, verses the many other plausible options?

Its just another atheistic argument, you won't get it unless happens to you.
That EWS thingy doens't make sense for someone that got something from God time and time again.

Because we likely already both agree humans exist. Because we likely both also agree that humans have the ability to write words.

However, we do not agree on the topic of God, for which is why I ask...

Why should I assume that the Bible was written by anyone else but mere human beings?

To the 33rd degree...I guess. Because that's a significant number...isn't it?

Why?

Power.

Who says I'm an atheist? Maybe I'm a deist? How does your assertion ring true for the deist? Thus far, it looks as though you have given no reason to take stock in what you say. Again, if you feel you have had 'inward witnessing', how are you to distinguish this felt contact from God, verses an infinite number of alternative reasons?

Are all felt 'inward witnessings' actually from God, or just some, or very few? Please explain to the curious, how one might know such contact is not only from an external force, but your specific sighted external force?

People agreeing has never been a really great criterion for getting to the truth.

I would absolutely agree. No pun intended there. Agreement does not render truth. But as I point out, you and I likely agree that humans exist, and humans write stuff. Thus, the point becomes moot to debate. We disagree that "God inspired the Bible."

What IS the demonstrated truth, that the Bible was written by anything other than humans?

Prophecy. Unless, we disagree that humans haven't mastered time travel.

You just offered up a complete tautology :( I asked you to explain 'powerful', for which you then state, "the words contained within are powerful."

Couldn't Hebrews have been written by humans, and humans alone? If not, why not?

I asked you to explain 'powerful'

Definition of powerful

1: having great power, prestige, or influence, a powerful leader

The Bible is extremely (uncannily...extra-ordinarily so) prestigious, influential, etc...

And then I gave a verse which not only speaks of itself being so, but demonstrates it as such.
