Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, it does. Covid ICU nurses are getting trolls on their testimonials regarding how bad Covid is and to take it seriously, only to get ridiculed online for it...at the same time, there are Covid patients in ICU's denying that the disease they have is indeed Covid?

Calgary nurse’s post defending front-line workers to ‘internet trolls’ goes viral

These awful people, hiding behind their computers are accusing Nurses and Doctors and data analyst of inflating the numbers, lying about the overwhelmed state of our hospitals, trying to fear monger or even trying to take advantage of all the overtime pay.

We've had even people here post some arbitrary photos of supposed "empty waiting rooms" at supposed "hospitals". It's like they are going out of their way to try VERY hard to down play Covid.

I have to wonder, what's the human physchology behind those denying they actually have Covid disease, esp. the proof is the fact that they'll be on their way to ventilator territory.

It has caused people, and nurses to lose their faith in humanity.

Was my PCR test result a false positive? | MIT Medical

covid-tests

PCR test is a research tool, not a diagnostic tool (Kerry Mullis, the inventor of PCR test). It's used to make copy of genes fast through "amplification cycles". It is a scam when used for diagnosis.

None of the tests also list the amplification cycles (ct threshold). That's how you end up with a plandemic$$$.

This has nothing to do with what I posted. We are talking about trolls harassing nurses who have valid reasons for people who are not taking it seriously.

Please stay on topic

Two medical people in my family. They aren't seeing what's on the news. Talked with several doctors that say the same. Who are we to believe?

Are they not watching the news?

And in the same breath, I know people in the medical field in South Dakota that are experience extreme fatigue and overstressed hospitals. The news reports the same in South Dakota. I have friends in the medical field that experiencing the opposite. So we can believe just that.

Plenty of us lost faith in them months ago.

Or maybe we've just been paying attention.

I agree and it is sad but it is what it is. It may take them or someone close to them getting really sick from it to wake them up to how serious this really is. People are still dying from this and with winter coming on it could get very bad since it thrives in the cold weather.

Expert types.

I don't have a DNC governor trying to give my parents the coof, so...

I absolutely agree... :)

But our definition of "moral education" is most certainly different. I mean, what is morality when you do nothing but fight against every moral standard in a society anyway?

Lol... it's little wonder really, why we are in such moral decay.

I don't accept Christian fundamentalist moral standards, but that doesn't mean I lack moral standards.

I believe in absolutes... this new floating morality (whats okay for me is not for thee) is doing our society no favors, and has become our downfall.

When a mother has so little love for any but herself and her wealth such that she can MURDER her own flesh and blood in the place that child should be the safest we are in trouble as a society because there is NO morality in murder.

When theft and vandalism goes unpunished because they support your point of view we are in trouble as a society.

When you pick and choose which of societies laws you WANT to follow without fear of punishment that society is in trouble...

Trolls are the least of our worries and the result of all of the above because morality is now "individual" and not absolute. When Justice is no longer blind, your going to have all manner of problems ..

So enjoy the trolls, when the left made morality into nothing more than how it feels, you have destroyed that society. So eat drink and be merry for the trolls are the left's own creation.

We now live in an insane asylum, no longer a nation of laws with a people of moral fortitude.

Where have I ever advocated for something like that?

Look, just because I don't accept the notion that morality comes from supposed bronze age religious edicts of a god doesn't mean I don't have moral principles I live by. In fact I would argue that accepting such moral standards uncritically is itself down to a lack of moral education.

I'm not trying to insult you, it's just the left (which is the side of the isle your on) supports all the things I've spoken of, and generally have done everything in their power to destroy the moral fabric of this nation.

It's kind of difficult after that to uphold any type of morality, when your beliefs are such that none should exist with the exception of what you prefer to consider to be moral, in any given moment...

"You" being a general term for anyone not myself or anyone not holding my beliefs in an absolute morality existing outside of social constructs- not you personally.

With the left's definition of societal morality having no absolutes, a cannibalistic society is perfectly moral - for them and their society.

I believe there is a morality that is outside of man, and applicable to all mankind and cultures... I can say FGM is evil, regardless of what someones culture dictates because of these beliefs. The left seems unable to condemn evil as being universal, or moral good as likewise being universal.

Illegal immigration. This country has an immigration system that the people's chosen representatives have defined. That system was codified into law, and requires an application and waiting for approval etc.

Certainly there are some situations where people have to come as refugees and seek asylum, such as when fleeing communist states, but those instances are more rare and the application prior to coming to our shores is required in most cases...

It's a nice way to make sure we are taking in the amount of people we can handle per job availability etc. in order that we aren't consigning people to a bad life of poverty here through overpopulation that our educational and commerce systems etc couldn't handle.

It's a good system. However, the left doesn't like it... they think it's unfair to force someone from Mexico, for instance, to have to apply for a visa and wait to get in, while people in other parts of the world have to apply for a visa and often wait years to get here and do everything right - out of respect for our nation and our laws.

It's two standards the left upholds when the law should be blind and applied to all equally.

Things like this are the basis of my argument here. When the law only exists to punish those we don't like and is ignored for our chosen groups or causes, people within society as a whole see following law as an option if they choose to follow it, but not hard and fast "rules" for everyone, equally, and equally able to be punished.

When you start chipping away at things like this that have forever been moral and good (i.e. following the laws of the nation your in) you lose social morality in other areas as well... trolls on the internet become the least of societies problems, but directly attributable to a lack of moral absolutes.

However, I do apologize for any offense caused by my wording.

Fundamentalist Christianity is not the vehicle for moral education, as history has clearly demonstrated. Classical values as taught by Aristotle, Confucius, etc. would be far better models than the sort of extremism, and intolerance that Evangelicals pine away for.

I dont think anyone should be forced to follow my religious laws or mandates.

However, some of our laws are seen biblically because they are applicable to an orderly running of a society. Not murdering people, not stealing from others, not bearing false witness, etc etc are all biblical, but good for any society to uphold so that it's the kind of society that people feel comfortable living in.

Our founders tried to set up a very basic set of laws that didn't overreach overly much into Bible thumping but provided for a safer society in general, with the hopes that in time we would grow to overcome some of the more common societal evils of their day. Which we largely have done.

I'm an extremist in your opinion as far as myself and how I think Christians should be following Christ, but I have no belief that I should be forcing others into my personal beliefs - being Christian is a choice, not a hammer.

However, in our society those few basic laws we have that allow for a safer more orderly society are being bucked at every turn and called evil, and evil is called good.

Trolls are a result of this lack of a basic societal morality.
