What is missed is that the resurrection was one of the signs/miracles listed (signs in The Gospel of John) that proves that Jesus is the promised Messiah (Only begotten Son of God) from the prophecies of The Tanakh.

The resurrection should point a person to the Messiah for Eternal Life, but many stop at the resurrection and place their faith in this work of Jesus, instead of placing their faith in The Messiah.

Every act or action in The Bible points to The Messiah for Eternal Life. Do not stop at the miracle keep going to The Messiah.

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

Why do you think so? If they would believe what Jesus said, they would obey him. I don’t think they do that.
They believe and tremble.
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” James 2:19 (KJV 1900)

“And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” Matthew 8:29 (KJV 1900)

“And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?” Acts 19:15 (KJV 1900)

So you experience Christ in your heart, and then believe what exactly?
The Word of Your Testimony?
What do you preach to someone who has never heard the Gospel.?

2 Corinthians 11:4. For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached,
or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

1 Peter 3:15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense
to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.

Revelation 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
You believe in him as God your savior. Later you begin to understand how salvation came about and how God designed it. Most never make it this far but are saved regardless.

I think believing that there is one God, is different than to believe what Jesus said.

The demons do that. It means to trust in him alone as your savior. If you think you can be lost, you cannot do this.

Matt 18 -- Jesus thought forgiveness could be revoked... was He in error in your POV?

Romans 11 - Paul thought Christians "who stand only by their faith" should "fear for if He did not spare them (the Jews that rejected Christ) He may not spare you either"

Another case of "error in the Bible" in your POV?

I was filled with the Spirit from out of the blue one day. Totally unsought and unexpected. And knew it was Jesus. And believed in him ever since. I then heard today's gospel but already had what they were talking about. So over time with many studies, I came to believe Calvinism is true for the most part.
Even the most dramatic of all conversions, Paul on the road to Damascus in Acts 9:1-6, did not receive the Holy Spirit out of the blue. He had to wait 3 days after being knocked off his high horse for the Lord (in His Sovereignty) to send Ananias to lay hands on him in Acts 9:17-18.

Acts 9:17 So Ananias went and entered the house; laying his hands on him, he said, “Saul, my brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus who appeared to you on the way by which you came, that you may regain your sight and be filled with the holy Spirit.” 18Immediately things like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight. He got up and was baptized,

You forgot the rest.

For me, it was the Holy Spirit filling every part of my being, some parts that I didn't even know I had
. . .a "stopping me in my tracks". . .taking my breath away. . .a powerful awareness of God. . . great joy. . .lasting over time.
I didn't really know/understand what it was. . .I learned in the Scriptures.

I likewise came to understand and believe Jesus'/Paul's TULIP doctrine.

I believe Cornelius bore the fruit of the Spirit long before he heard Peter preach. All believers in the OT up until the NT times were born again. Not by law either. Law cannot save. Are you born again? If so, how?

I believe Cornelius bore the fruit of the Spirit long before he heard Peter preach. All believers in the OT up until the NT times were born again.
When Peter reported the good news that Gentiles (including Cornelius) had received the Holy Spirit he justified the claim by saying they spoke in tongues after hearing the preaching of the Gospel (which is the power of God for salvation). Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is available for the asking. You have got the cart before the horse.

The first reference to being born again was made by Jesus in the Gospels - it confounded Nicodemus. Although some in the OT experienced the Holy Spirit, like Kings (David and Saul even) and the prophets, there is no scriptural promise of the Holy Spirit to believers in the OT. John the Baptist said that Jesus, unlike himself, had the authority to baptize in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 1:6 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Luke 11:9 So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish,d will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
An interesting side note: Luke 11:9-13 applies to anything you want from God - even salvation.

What was your acquaintance with Christianity prior to that?
.
My parents attended a Baptist church and I tagged along until I became a teenager. From then on I lived a life of unbelief with no interest in religion. But that changed one sunny afternoon when I was 20. A brief testimony follows.

When I was 20, the Lord converted me over a period of 3 days. I began telling people that I didn't know what was going on but I think Christ is real and he is dealing with me.

The joy of the Holy Spirit and God's love had become real and excited me. And I didn’t want it to stop but feared that it might. On the evening of the 3rd day my happiness turned into remorse. God convicted me of sins I didn't even know existed. I began praying, sobbing and asking his forgiveness.

I also asked Jesus into my heart. I heard you are supposed to do this, probably as a child in Sunday school. I fell asleep exhausted in tears only to awake the next day absolutely convinced Christ had saved me.

I had never been so excited about anything. I began telling friends and others. I saw a whole string of conversions in and around people I knew. They believed me and wanted in on it too. None of us were churched, so we began experimenting with going to different churches. We and our girls rattled a few churches with our enthusiasm.

Not wanting to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, I gave up my career and began living the sermon on the mount (Matthew 6:24-34). Seeking first the kingdom of God as a career. To make a long story short, I began working unskilled labor part-time as unto the Lord. And retired early out of my own pocket, never missing a day's work even through two major recessions and job closings. The Lord is faithful.

Amazing. . .retiring early on the salary of an unskilled worker. . .God takes care of his own.

I picked up skills along the way. Everything from computer tech to high-end sales. But I didn't seek these positions. God placed me in them through closing and opening doors. Although my wife and I started while homeless.
