We are broken humans to begin with and are being encouraged in the wrong direction
If we are Christians then we must believe that our faith is exclusive and that God's law is applicable. What is shocking is how many Christians take a pluralistic view of faith, law and morality and refuse to place God as supreme not only in their own lives but in the lives of their nation. It's no wonder America is in the state It's in. Christians are in retreat and immorality reigns supreme because we're afraid of offending the world. You know I noticed something your comments are designed to make someone angry lol. Your morals, your religion, there are 7 billion people on this planet, thousands or beliefs I do not believe your moral or religious beliefs are more important than anyone elses and you have a nice day
Imma just pretend like I never heard this at all, living in Alabama currently.
So...that would be a "No I don't want to address the fact that men are as much a part of the abortion issue but the idea of controlling men's bodies is too hard, so instead we'll concentrate on controlling women's bodies and choices instead."?
tulc(is just making sure he understands these posts)
And yet...you don't appear to have much problem with trying to control women's bodies/choices though.
tulc(just thought that should be pointed out)
And that process could probably be improved with legislation that will make it easier and would ease the hardship of young mothers to give birth for adoption by receiving reasonable compensation for bringing their kid to term rather than simply terminating it to avoid problems with school, career etc.
They already do. the problem is after she has given birth she can still decided to keep it. Maybe it sounds cruel but if she agrees to adopt it out and the family spend money on her medical care she should forfeit any parental rights.
Lol that bill even if passed will never hold up....
But it does show how so many liberals think, that they are not really liberal because they are not looking to free you or support your freedom but to do the opposite.
Mandatory vasectomy: Alabama lawmaker proposes abortion ban response
A proposed Alabama law would require that all men get a vasectomy after they turn 50 or after the birth of their third child, whichever comes first.
The bill's sponsor, Democratic state Rep. Rolanda Hollis, said the measure gives perspective to reproductive health laws, including the state's contested abortion ban.
“It always takes two to tango," she told AL.com. “We can’t put all the responsibility on women. Men need to be responsible also.”
Hollis said the proposal is meant to "neutralize" the Human Life Protection Act passed last summer, which would make performing an abortion a Class A felony, punishable by life or 10 to 99 years in prison. A federal judge blocked the ban in October, and a lawsuit is pending.
If passed by the Republican-controlled state government, the bill introduced last week would require men to pay for their vasectomy. The proposal has drawn criticism from outside the state, including from Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
"Yikes," Cruz tweeted Sunday. "A government big enough to give you everything is big enough to take everything … literally!"
While the abortion ban was under consideration, Democratic state Sen. Vivian Davis Figures proposed adding an amendment to make undergoing a vasectomy a felony, but the effort failed.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that forced sterilization is unconstitutional, but during the 20th century, the federal government funded coerced sterilization of people of color, disabled people and poor people in 32 states, PBS reported.
