I see, so how can you know the Living Word without the written Word?

In China the believers had no bibles - sometimes a fragment of a verse which was treasured.

That had no bearing on their salvation in fact under persecution they were more 'saved' than many folks in the West.

The Word was living within them.

I ask again - Is Jesus the Word or not?

I see, so how can you know the Living Word without the written Word?

Here is how Yahshua defines it:

(CLV) Jn 5:37
And the Father Who sends Me, He has testified concerning Me. Neither have you ever heard His voice nor a perception of Him have you seen.

We have the testimony of those who have heard his voice. It is the Torah and the Prophets.

(CLV) Jn 5:38
And His (YHWH's) word you do not have remaining in you, for that One Whom He commissions, this One you are not believing.

Yahshua tells us that if we don't believe Yahshua; YHWH's word is not in us.

(CLV) Jn 5:39
"Search the scriptures, for in them you are supposing you have life eonian, and those are they which are testifying concerning Me,

The scriptures are the testimony of YHWH's word. If we ignore the testimony; we ignore his word.

How about we read John 5 from a 'normal' translation...

35John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you were willing for a season to bask in his light. 36But I have testimony more substantial than that of John. For the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works I am doing—testify about Me that the Father has sent Me. 37And the Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form, 38nor does His word abide in you, because you do not believe the One He sent.

Clearly Jesus was talking to unbelievers who did not have the Word within them.

Did you know parents and love them and even jump for glee when they came into the room or gave you attention when you were a baby,
(you or anyone).
Did you or anyone need to first read their birth certificate, school and job performance reports, reviews by neighbors or others, see the test scores, and so on,
or just rejoice and be glad to be there , with them ?

So you have to be literate to know Jesus? "Consequently faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word of Christ." Romans 10:17

There is nothing in either Testament that says that you must know how to read to know God.

Nope. Faith comes by Hearing the Word of God or reading the Word of God *Romans 10:17. It is still the Word of God that faith comes by. There is no difference. Today most have the written Word of God and are literate. Those who are not literate can hear the Word of God from those who know it.

No one know God without God's Word. It is through the hearing or reading the Word of God we have faith *Romans 10:17 and it is through faith we receive God's grace *Ephesians 2:8-9. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin *Romans 14:23. Salvation and sanctification is by faith in the Word of God *John 17:17; 1 John 5:4. God's Spirit works through the Word of God not outside of it because it is the Spirit of the Word of God *John 6:63. Any teaching that teaches that we receive God's Spirit outside of God's Word is not God's Spirit.

God bless.

[STAFF EDITED DELETED QUOTE]
I use many bible translations and look at the Greek and Hebrew word meanings. The understanding in relation to salvation and the scriptures is still the same. We are saved by Gods' grace only as we believe and follow God's Word.

This looks so wrong, so deeply wrong... so contrary to all God Reveals, and contrary to God's Word.

Anyone who believe and follows God's Word is Apostolic (What does it mean to be Apostolic?). It is true that all the Apostles kept the Sabbath as did JESUS. Happy to provide the scriptures here (evidence).

Here you go...

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4:1-9)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Revelation 14:12; Revelation 22:14; Ezekiel 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matthew 16:24; 1 Corinthians 11:1; Ephesians 5:1-21; Peter 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

Lot's of evidence I think.

Your welcome. :)
Of course, the beginning, what does it mean to be Apostolic, is your definition, not the original one...

I think in Romans 2 it shows how people who did not even have TORAH (Scripture) to read nor to listen to, when they do as TORAH directs, God Justifies them,
and by their lives doing as TORAH directs, they show that God Has Written TORAH in their hearts;
and those who do have TORAH, but do not do as TORAH directs, God Says they are unjustified, .....

The term "Apostolic" is not a biblical term. The Greek noun “Apostolos” (written phonetically) means a messenger, or one sent to deliver a message. The scriptures provided earlier to you are examples of the Apostles following JESUS. Those who believe and follow JESUS follow true Apostolic succession according to the scriptures. Yours was the man-made version from the Catholic Church which is not biblical. For me I prefer the bible.
So...if the word isn't Biblical, it doesn't need to have a biblical definition, right? The word Trinity is not biblical either, and yet it is true...Apostles are those who are sent. Plain and simple. You may feel that you were sent, but you can't prove it. Apostles were sent by Jesus, and those apostles sent out other apostles, we call them bishops today. FWIW, "angel" means messenger. Apostles are sent out to teach and spread the Word, as Matthew 28 says.

Again, so wrong.... so sad...

True but if a term is related to the Word of God which the Christian faith is based on any teaching should be able to be shown through scripture (God's Word) or it has no place in Christianity. According to the scriptures all those who have been given the great gospel commission today are sent by JESUS *Matthew 28:16-20.
