New York governor Andrew Cuomo will receive an Emmy for showing 'leadership' during his daily COVID-19 press briefings

Very well deserved. Cuomo provided great leadership for not only his state but for the country at a time when we desperately needed it. He's done a great job leading and setting the example for other governors and states. He really stepped up and filled the leadership void.

It's great to see him recognized for his service. Congratulations to Governor Cuomo!

He ran great press conferences... I will give you that. But as far as the rest of his handling Covid his only success he had came at the hands of Trump. He however was very good at killing off the elderly in his state by forcing young Covid positive people into nursing homes, and convalescent hospitals, completely unnecessarily.

Oh I forgot something... his Covid poster was.... artistic and unique.

You have it backwards - his successes were all done without the hand of Trump involved and the deaths of the elderly in nursing homes came at the hand of Trump whose CDC provided the guidelines to keep and place Covid-infected elderly in nursing homes.

His broadcasts were excellent. He provided facts and reason, things which the president never did because he was absent unless he was claiming that Covid would "disappear like a miracle".

And the poster was very good, that's true.

Read what God's Word says - the rainbow is not an abomination to the Lord, it is a symbol of life, a symbol of his covenant to not destroy the life on earth.

OK my mistake I seem to recall their was a lot of hullaballoo about ventilators, and needing more hospitals because the hospitals were soon going to overwhelmed, and not having enough PPE, not having testing kits.... I seem to recall Trump was instrumental on that sort of thing but maybe that was some kind of fever hallucination....

No that was spin that he said later, when things started to blow up. The people being put into nursing homes came by way of his executive orders.

Exactly. God made the rainbow to represent a covenant between him and man

The lgbt uses it to promote homosexuality and pride...not just one but two sins. They arent looking to honor God

Cuomo had to fight and publicly shame Trump into delivering on the basics that he had to deliver on. Trump was a hindrance and people died because of him. More money was spent on ventilators because Cuomo had to get his own and spend more on them because Trump's administration created a bidding war and bid against all the individual states to acquire and then hoard the ventilators. Cuomo did an amazing job working with a terrible president who did all he could to block Cuomo and other governors from helping save people's lives.

Cuomo's executive orders were done with the lack of guidance from federal authorities, along with outright poor guidance from federal authorities, including the CDC's instruction to allow or place elderly with Covid into nursing homes. In hindsight, it resulted in deaths among the elderly, but Cuomo did the best with what he had to work with. Cuomo helped many, many more lives to be saved than deaths to be caused.

The fact that Cuomo took charge and did this all without help from anyone and led the entire nation while Trump just spouted inane things like "it disappears in one day, it's like magic" or "it's just the flu". Cuomo did a great job and is the reason for the entire nation doing as well as we're doing; without Cuomo setting the pace and creating the template our nation would have more than double the cases, deaths, etc. from Covid.

Funny how conservatives want to pin his failures and shortcomings on him and only him but they don't want to give him credit for his tremendous successes. But that's because they're just biased against him. Look at NY's numbers and trends and it tells the whole story.

Im all for making laws to protect gays from violence and discrimation. They suffered alot for many years and they were created in Gods image just like me so they deserve to be loved and treated with kindness

However, promoting homosexuality as a good thing is going against the creator. Promoting pride is promoting sin. And God also created marriage which means anyone who looks to redefine marriage is also going against God

You're looking for things that aren't there. The pandemic has nothing to do with LGBT agenda. Rainbows, based on the original purpose as recorded in the Bible, are used frequently as a symbol of life. I doubt Cuomo used it as a specifically Christian symbol but that doesn't mean he used it "to promote the lgbt agenda". There are a host of secular/non-Christian meanings for the rainbow:
