I'm so "exciteeed".....it's satan vs satan with the possibility satan might win.

No thanks. I chose Christ Jesus. He gave us a task of winning the eternal things in life (FOREVER) and therefore, it's winning souls over to Christ...the stuff that matters, the eternal election....not some government satanic puppet election.

Well it's your constitutional right to not vote if you don't want to.

Hopefully, the state board will certify the results in the state. If not, I suspect we may be seeing the end of elections in the US, or at least in Michigan, where the losing side will vote to not certify the election results. Of course, there are similar stories in Georgia, where apparently pressure is being put on the Republican Secretary of State -- including death threats against him and his family -- to refuse to certify the election results, including throwing out all mail votes in some counties, and instead to certify Pres. Trump as the winner.

Shouldn't the thread title actually read 'Michigan Democrats try to force early certification despite lawsuits and possible voting scandals'?

No. State Law requires the county to certify their results by Nov. 17, so the county Election Board was voting as is required by law. It is Republicans attempting to not abide by State Law by claiming the Trump campaign needs additional time to find "scandals" that might actually be supported by evidence.

They did abide by state law, and since the Dems were finding 'scandals' under every rock for the last four years, it seems strange they suddenly lose interest now. What's the definition of 'hypocrite' again? I forget.

With Wayne county elections????

Difference is, those "scandals" led to several individuals going to jail; unlike Trump's empty election claims. And it isn't just this election that has been empty claims, but also from 2018 and 2016. His hand picked commission in 2016 failed to find any significant election fraud and his CISA commission, set up under his administration to ensure fair elections, was fired because they found this election was one of the safest in US history.

Hint, it starts with a D.

Actually, I think it starts with an "H," as most humans, in some way, are hypocrites. The fact is, the faults we tend to hate the most in others are the faults we see in ourselves.

As someone who is neither a Democrat or a Republican, it has been my observation over the past few decades that it is usually the Republicans who are the hypocrites.

This thread had a clean up of snarky posts debating who are the hypocrites. Continuing that line of discussion will result in staff actions like bans from the thread or forum.

There is a flaming rule.
