Well unfortunately the left has manipulated her to be irrationally hateful. I dont have a single bit of respect for the political parties or these delusional groups like the white nationalists, BLM and antifa

God is way far above all them and he says we should forgive no matter what. Would Maxine Waters be ok with it if she knew that God won't forgive her if she doesn't forgive others?

On that note your not doing a bad thing if your black and you vote for Trump or Biden. We humans all have different perspectives and that's ok. Whats not ok is being angry, hateful and not forgiving others

Trump refused to forgive John McCain for siding with the Democrats on a key vote the Republicans lost. Trump was mad at the comedian Rosie O’Donnel for mocking him in sound bite before he was President. It is difficult to be fair in a world that chooses sides. Most Democrats do not follow Maxine Waters on Facebook or even remember she exists. People on the left or right do not all agree on why they voted for one candidate or the other.

How is this going to play in Georgia? It sounds like another "You aren't really Black if you don't vote for me" kind of thing. The Democratic Party has owned people long enough. First as the party of slaveholders, then as the party of the KKK, and now the party that tells you you aren't Black if you don't vote for them. What is the Democratic Party offering in return for the Black vote? More LGBTQWERTY nonsense. And pulling out the police, rather than fixing the police, so everyone has to fend for themselves in a more dangerous world.

Er, um, I do think it's time for political realignment. And I'm not fond of either big party. In this election I might prefer the devil we know rather than Kamala Harris, the heir apparent. But in the longer run I'd like to see both big parties shrink into irrelevance and be replaced by others. I want a centrist pro-environment pro-life anti-monopoly party. One that didn't try to string me along with promises they mostly didn't keep.

I think many Democrats would like everyone to forget Maxine Waters exists but she keeps proving that she is still out there. Way out there.

As long as she is allowed to caucus with the Democrats, she is a ... wait for it ... Democrat. If they don't like her they could shut her out of the caucus or run someone against her. They got rid of Dan Lipinski by running someone against him. They didn't like a pesky pro-life person who called himself a Democrat. Until they actually do something to get rid of Maxine Waters, either boosting her out of the caucus or running a successful candidate against her she's their problem.

What other political parties have problems like that? Hmmm. The Republicans with Trump?

Jason Whitlock has had a good series on the state of the black community over at Outkick.com. A lot of it relates to politics in sports but his broader point is that the color of ones skin shouldn't be the defining characteristic of ones life. Rather faith, intellect etc. should be the center. He blames the culture of blackness, ie having to endlessly prove how black you are, for problems in the black community. Whitlock blames white liberals for pushing blackness culture because it keeps blacks enslaved to interests they don't really have.

Well...she just got re-elected with a 71+% rate from her district, so while some people on here may not like her, apparently the people she represents do.
tulc(is just sayn')

Perhaps they are just as unforgiving of people who have a difference of opinion as she is - you know, birds of a feather.

(just a sayin')

Really? Because I remember when he called her (June 25, 2018)
Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person,
so I'm thinking that whole "she's just a hateful person!" seems like some people are only seeing this as a one way street when the animosity is definitely flowing both ways. But it's understandable, President Trump has serious problems with any woman who doesn't kowtow when he says something.

Hislegacy. (Remembers her speech telling her lemmings to confront “them” wherever they are seen. )
...there's that irony again, the idea of someone calling someone elses followers "lemmings" after all the superspreader events/rallies President Trump has had in the last few months is...pretty amazing. :sorry:
tulc(thinks "lemmings" is a remarkably apt word to describe that behaviour)

Her comments were criticized by Republicans, though some Democrats were reluctant to take on Waters, a popular figure among progressives and a longtime member of Congress.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Fox News Monday the remarks were "very dangerous" and called upon Waters to issue a public apology. Sen. Jeff Flake, a retiring Arizona Republican who has repeatedly criticized Trump, tweeted, "Left or right, nobody deserves this kind of treatment."

Meghan McCain, the daughter of Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain, called Waters' comments "absolutely insane" and "extremely dangerous." McCain, who is also the daughter-in-law of Douglas Domenech, the current Assistant United States Secretary of the Interior for Insular Areas, asked on Twitter, "does this mean when we go out to dinner we should be ambushed?!?"

Here are her own words. And now she is saying don’t forgive people because of who they voted for. That is division, not unity.
This is pretty typical of the Trump Republican Party, they've spent the last 2 weeks trying to start fights and spreading lies everywhere they go and whining because their candidate got beat (in a landslide, according to President Trump) by a guy in his basement and now they complain about someone else not being a "unifier". :D

LOL! This is pretty typical of the Biden Democratic Party -

Please ignore her own words and focus on the Trump boogey man - everything is his fault. He made Maxine turn from a rude person into a rude hateful person. Even the strongest Trump supporters don't believe that, but if it makes people sleep better at night - ok.
