The new covenant in Christ, God has made for the House of Judah and the House of Israel (since the two were split following Solomon's reign), but neither has said "We do" to it yet.

Paul speaks to the mainly Gentile church at Corinth in the passage below.

2Co 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
2Co 3:8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?

The author of the Book of Hebrews proves you wrong below by quoting Jeremiah 31:31-34 word-for-word, and uses the word "now" at the beginning of the passage.

Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
Heb 8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—
Heb 8:9 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.
Heb 8:10 FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Heb 8:11 NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.
Heb 8:12 FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Heb 10:16 "THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND IN THEIR MINDS I WILL WRITE THEM,"
Heb 10:17 then He adds, "THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE." (Quoted from Jeremiah 31:31-34.)
Heb 10:18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

We find the New Covenant applied to the church in the passage below.

Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Also, about 3,000 Israelites said "We do" on the Day of Pentecost.

Which house were the 3,000 Pentecost Israelites, who said "we do", from?

Which house was Paul, who said "I do", from?

Which house were the Corinthian Church Israelites, who said "we do", from?

Which house are the millions of Israelites who have said "we do" since Calvary from?

Which house are the Israelites who today said "we do" from?

Which house are the Israelites who tomorrow will say "we do" from?

What have they all said "we do" to?

Go try to tell some of them that they haven't said "We do" to the New Covenant to which they've said "We do".

I'd love to hear the guffaws.

Everyone knows that there is a small percetange of Jews who embraced the gospel since day 1, and have been embracing the gospel in smalll numbers percentage wise ever since.

But the large percentage of Jews have not. And the nation of Israel has not.

And Jerusalem has yet to say, regarding Jesus, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord".

7 years after the Gog/Magog event, Jesus Himself speaking in the text...

Ezekiel 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

But for some reason you cannot accept that some teachings and beliefs coming out of the covenant theology reformation era are wrong, in spite of all the evidence otherwise.

Your attempts to make the Two Peoples of God doctrine work do not agree with what is written in the scripture below.
It is a form of Dual Covenant Theology, based on race.

Rom 9:8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Do you understand the word "remnant" in the verse below means a whole nation of people will not come to faith?

Rom 9:27 Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: "THOUGH THE NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA, THE REMNANT WILL BE SAVED.

Many claim a large number of modern Orthodox Jews will come to salvation at Christ's Second Coming.
The passage below proves otherwise. There is no Plan B of salvation, based on race.

2Th 1:7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Th 1:9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
2Th 1:10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

As Brother JGR revealed above, about 3,000 Israelites said "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord." on the Day of Pentecost. This fact is in complete agreement with the scripture above.

Do you agree that the two sticks representing the house of Israel and the house of Judah were joined back together when Israel became a nation in the land again May 14, 1948 ?

The entire human race is the house of Israel and the house of Judah genetically.

As those of the house of Israel and the house of Judah tell us themselves.

Why do you refuse to believe them?

Do you know more about their genetics than they know about their genetics?

The entire human race is the house of Israel and the house of Judah genetically.
No, that's not true.

Here is what the bible says, Ezekiel 39:22-23. Jesus Himself speaking in the text. He makes a distinction between the heathen and the house of Israel. The heathen are the nations. The house of Israel went into captivity because they transgressed Him.

In verse 28, it says the house of Israel went into captivity among the heathen. So the house Israel is not the church. And the house of Israel is not the heathen. The entire human race is not the house of Israel and the house of Judah. As God has made a distinction in His Word, between the (whole) house of Israel and the heathen nations.

Ezekiel 39:17-20 is the Armageddon feast corresponding to Revelation 19:17-18.

Ezekiel 39:17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

The northern tribes were taken into captivity hundreds of years before the time of Christ and their bloodline became mixed with those of the Gentiles.

James addressed his letter to "the twelve tribes" who were his 'brethren" in the "faith" in James 1:1-3.
Who was James talking to?

Pastor Chuck Baldwin reveals the counterfeit in the message below.

Read my post #268 about what God says in Ezekiel 39:17-29. God makes a distinction between the House of Israel and the nations. Also, it is the House of Israel that went into captivity in the nations, and not the church, because the House of Israel transgressed against Him.

For some reason, them of Covenant Theology and New Covenant Theology do not want to admit that some of the doctrines and teachings in their system are wrong, in spite of all the physical and biblical evidence otherwise.

We have been going through why the 70th week still remains because of the vision Gabriel was referencing in Daniel 9:23 was the Daniel 8 little horn vision that Daniel had, said by Gabriel to be time of the end, yet you and jgr can't come to grips with it. And now you are trying to imply that what God says in Ezekiel 39, Jesus Himself speaking in the text v21-29 is not true.

What I think both of you should do is a graceful 180 degrees pirouette from those doctrines and teachings regarding Israel and the end times, and get on board with what is written and indicated in the bible, and take what the commentators that you consider all knowing with a grain of salt.

Has Christ already died almost 2,000 years ago?

Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

The proof of Jeremiah 31:31-34 being already fulfilled is found plainly written in Hebrews 8:6-13, where the author of the Book of Hebrews quoted the passage word-for-word, and began the passage with the word "now".
So far you have tried to pretend the passage does not exist.

Part of Jeremiah 31:31-34 is also quoted in Hebrews 10:16-18, with the word "now" in verse 18.

.

Simply show how Jesus fulfilled the New Covenant as declared by God in these verses:

Jeremiah 31:31-34
King James Version

31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

This is the covenant God is going to make with all Israel and Judah "after those days". So are you implying that because Everyone will know the Lord from the least to the greatest in the houses of Israel and Judah, that every Jew has been saved since Pentecost? And are you also implying that god no longer remembers the sins of all Israel as He said here in the new covenant He will make with both the houses of Israel and Judah?

Also when were those days and what happened in those days so that Jesus fuflilled this covenant with the houses of Israel and Judah "after those days"?

I await you r answer.

YOu and mikgal keep saying this about Hebrews 8 but yet neither of you have simply answered my question and shown how the covenant was fuflilled to the houses of Israel and Judah.

You keep ignoring what Peter said below on the Day of Pentecost, when he address the crowd as Israelites.
Who was Peter talking to in this verse on the day about 3,000 Israelites came to faith in Christ.

Act 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Who was James addressing below when he wrote his letter to "the twelve tribes"?
Bible Scholars all over the world understand the Book of James is written to the Church.

Jas 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
Testing of Your Faith
Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

The master teacher is promised below to those who are a part of the New Covennant.
Christ reveals this same promise in John 14:26, because the Holy Spirit is the master teacher.
The fulfillment of the master teacher is found in 1 John 2:27 for those who are a part of the New Covenant.

Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Luk 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

God makes a distinction between the House of Israel and the nations. Also, it is the House of Israel that went into captivity in the nations, and not the church, because the House of Israel transgressed against Him.

Either you are confused, or Peter was confused below on the Day of Pentecost when about 3,000 Israelites came to faith in Christ.

Are you insisting that 3000 Israelites represent the entire House of Israel?

Why is it so difficult for you to accept that the 3000 could represent only a remnant, as what Paul would say in Romans 11:4-5?

Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

We have been over this ground enough to create a 20' rut!

Simply answer the one question on this that you have refused to answer thus far:

Did Peter address every single Jew in Israel when He spoke those words or not!

If what you are implying by posting 1 John 2:27 is that no man need teach us: why are you trying to teach me then if that is your belief???

When James wrote James 1:1 Did he send that letter to every Jew scatttered everywhere?

And if you are using these verses to show that Jer. 31:31-34

Are you saying that all Jews after Pentecost got saved? Have they all gotten saved since? or did the covenant run out? Are you saying Jews no longer need to be taught because the covenant is fulfilled?
Honestly I don't know, because to date you have not shown one bible verse that shows these verses where God speaks of what He is going to do to all of Israel and Judah has actually happened yet.

YOu talk of Jesus being mediator and so he is! but if one is mediating a covenant- then that covenant has not been fulfilled.

You are arguing with Jesus in the verse below.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Do you believe what Jesus said in the verse above?

Is the Holy Ghost your teacher?

I agree that, in time past, during the book of Acts, Peter and Stephen for example, did not have to prepare for any of their preaching to the nation Israel, whether was it in Acts 2, 3 or 7. The Holy Spirit was definitely speaking thru them.

But now, do you think pastors need to prepare for their message to the congregation? That pastors can rely on this verse that you are quoting and just preach from the pulpit without any form of preparation?

Either you are confused, or Peter was confused below on the Day of Pentecost when about 3,000 Israelites came to faith in Christ.
You are the one confused. Ezekiel 38-39 take place in the latter years/latter days. And Ezekiel 39:17-29 shows how wrong some of the teachings you are presenting are.

In Acts 1, Peter was speaking to some of the pilgrims from the nations of the house of Israel, from the various tribes.
