Apoleia [G684]=perdition, destruction, waste, perishing.

Revelation 9:11. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit,
whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

The Narrow Way
Matthew 7:
13
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads
to perdition
, and there are many who go in by it.
14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there
are few who find it.

John 17:12. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those
whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition,
that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

John 13:
10
Jesus said to him, He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely
clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.
11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, You are not all clean.

Philippians 3:
18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,
that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 whose end is perdition, whose god is their belly, and glory in their shame—
who set their mind on earthly things.

Matthew 10:28. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

2 Peter 2:
1
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers
among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought
them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way
of truth will be blasphemed.
3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment
has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

Hebrews 10:
35
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.
36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive
the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe unto the saving
of the soul.

1 Timothy 6:
6
Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and
harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith
in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Luke 13:
1
There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood
Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answered and said to them, Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse
sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that
they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

2 Corinthians 4:
3
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light
of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your
bondservants for Jesus’ sake.

John 10:
25
Jesus answered them, I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in
My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me.
26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone
snatch them out of My hand.
29
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch
them out of My Father’s hand.
30 I and My Father are one.

1 Corinthians 1:
18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us
who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the
understanding of the prudent.

Hebrews 10:26-39
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 32 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 "For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Hebrews 6:1-12
1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
A Better Estimate
9 But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

The people who rejected Moses law had no mercy meaning they had no chance to live if they sinned and die faster if they don’t repent but their chance was fair for they know the consequences if they don’t repent God took away the punishment so sinners never have to experience death it does not mean they were not given the chance to repent if they sinned if they were repentant they would be saved or given a chance to accept Christ in the world to come for I believe when Jesus said he who blasphemes the Holy Spirit has not forgiveness in this age or the age to come He means some will be forgiven or given a chance to repent in the age to come who did repent and accept the covenant requirements

No one who wanted to live would sin wilfully and they would be obliged to keep the law so they do not die and they would need to repent

Paul says here the blood of Jesus is not a common thing that is poured out to save everyone even if they don’t repent

Paul shows here it is necessary for people who believe to show love towards His name that is obviously by confessing Christ and Jesus teaches clearly those who deny Him before men will be denied before the Father so we can’t say those who don’t confess Him can be saved

Jesus explains those who bury their talent are not accepted

Because no one is righteous denying Christ does not mean just showing contempt for those who appears to live somewhat moral lives though they each are not righteous but still sinners because they are not keeping all Christ has revealed is right

But if one really loves Christ you are required to confess Him because no one is righteous and can get to heaven by not believing and you have to work for others to believe

God has given all people work to do to spread the gospel and talents people are required to work to prove they are righteous and worthy of Christ by also working to spread the kingdom of Christ and His righteousness on earth by showing care for all and the lost to preach to all they need to turn to Christ and repent
