Apoleia [G684]=perdition, destruction, waste, perishing.
Revelation 9:11. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit,
whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
The Narrow Way
Matthew 7:
13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads
to perdition, and there are many who go in by it.
14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there
are few who find it.
John 17:12. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those
whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition,
that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
John 13:
10 Jesus said to him, He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely
clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.
11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, You are not all clean.
Philippians 3:
18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,
that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 whose end is perdition, whose god is their belly, and glory in their shame—
who set their mind on earthly things.
Matthew 10:28. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
