Thanks NG. Yes, I find it pleasant to relax here. It's cooler than the back patio, and usually catches a breeze coming off the ocean. Love your bush photos though!
Out walking the streets this morning, I took a photo of the other side of the fence when I got home...I find it personally appealing too, as far as suburbia goes, but it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea! I prefer the bush or the sea though.

Okay, is "bush" a term for...forests? I've heard it used here and there, in TV shows and such, and always assumed it meant something akin to the wilderness?

Yes, springtime and getting closer to summer when we start whining every day about how hot it is. The place has a peaceful character to it, but I much prefer the forests and the bay or ocean.

Walking the pathway alongside the Bay a couple of days ago, this scene seemed relevant.... laid back. Soooo much stress in the world...not out on the Bay though.

Thank goodness the snow thrower started right up. It was wet and heavy. If it was powdery like we often get I’d do 3” with a shovel.

Could do with a bit of that down here this weekend tho. 37c (circa 99f) and not even into summer. But does drop back down to a respectable 29c (84f) by midweek.
