I've grown to respect her more over the last few years. She's hardly the wacky left coast radical people made her out to be. Much in common with A C Barret incidentally, Catholic, Notre Dame, lotsa kids.

One of those kids, her daughter Christine, will be one of the 538 Americans that will actually vote for President next month. (And so is Hillary Clinton.)

When both the Democratic and Republican party remove Biden from office eventually, this will make Harris President, the plan all along, at least IMO. A President needs a vice President. I'm not certain how that procedure might work in a scenario such is this, but imagine if Pelosi was eligible to fulfill that office, and that she was chosen to fulfill it?

On a side note, since I expect Harris will be President sooner rather than later, well, Presidents typically are associated with the first lady. I wonder who the first lady is going to be in scenario such as this?

The guy who’ll be Second Gentleman until then. Douglas Emhoff.

Your odd "Harris will replace Biden soon" fantasies aside...

This is backwards: First Ladies are associated with Presidents, not the other way around. There have been presidents without spouses and likely will be again at some point in the future.

Apparently, VP-elect's husband (whose name I'll learn eventually) will be referred to as the "Second Gentleman", so presumably if Harris did become president (in this coming term, or after the next election) he would be the "First Gentleman".

Don't be foolish! I assume that Joe Biden will be President for as long as he lives, but if he dies in office I'm certain that Kamala Harris will be a great President. (There is no plan for that to happen!)

There will be no first lady; there will be a first gentleman, her husband.

Why would the Republican's go along with a plan to remove Biden when one of the biggest campaign points they had against Biden was that his VP was Kamala Harris? That aside, there is a specific procedure for picking a new VP, which includes a vote from both the House and the Senate. Nvm that Pelosi has never shown any interest in being President, and there is no other foreseeable reason for running for VP.
