i want to know what happened to all of the posters (on this and other threads) that were predicting a trump landslide?
Their heads explored at the idea of Biden winning Georgia obviously!

They still seem to be predicting it.

It's strange, but a lot of his supporters truly seem to believe that he's going to pull some last minute, dramatic turn around and expose the most massive voter fraud collaboration in history, like some lame political thriller.

Is transparency too much to ask? If Biden won then fine. Us conservatives just want the will of the people to be done, we also want to make sure the voting was accurate and not rigged. If this is a foolish notion then just let us make fools of ourselves and let us see the actual votes and how they were counted and ensure they were legal. That is all we want.

Then file the suits and stop acting like the GOP conspired to elect Biden. That’s the only way these allegations could be true and successful.

Some politicians have already been caught this year trying to forge votes and what not.

Go for it.
They are. I don't think they will be successful but it would be nice to actually know if Biden won. Biden talked about unity, the first step would be to show that he won fairly, that would be leadership.

Not so sure.

If theres real evidence of widespread fraud, then I'd agree. But if not, the last thing I want is for the president elect to validate the notion that every election is suspect and needs to get hung up in court at the whim of every sore loser.

Sorry, not buying it.

Most of what I've seen in the past few days has been a lot of grandstanding, wild stories, and baseless accusations. I've seen Trump supporters refusing to accept that anyone could ever vote for Biden over Trump - even though Trump couldn't even get more votes than Hillary Clinton four years ago, so I can't imagine why that's so hard to fathom. I've heard complaints about standard procedures, heard them making death threats and calls to revolt, heard them talk like the end of the world is right around the corner, heard them talk about throwing out millions of votes...

But what I've heard precious little of is good, hard evidence to back up any of the stuff they've been saying.

You come off like a bunch of spoiled children, and I don't believe for one second that you'll accept it when Trump gets his [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] handed to him in court. He'll just claim that the democrats rigged the courts against him, and you'll follow him in lockstep. Mark my words.

when there are two competing tribes and one leader has won over the other one that leaders tribe will be upset. in the past what this means is that your leader was killed and you might have been enslaved or killed or put in a lower position in the social hierarchy, and so of course everyone is going to have strong reactions.

The victors of course will have a reaction of dominance. For them nothing could be wrong because their tribe is in a good position.

More name calling huh. I will accept it if that is who people voted for. I am not those people you claim to have heard. I am not calling for a revolt or anything like that. If the votes are legal then there is no problem. There is no convincing evidence because the evidence would be with the ballots that are not being shared. Show us the ballots and why they are legal and all this goes away and you make the republicans look foolish, win - win for the dems.

BTW Trump got 5.5 million more votes nationally and 390,000 more votes in PA than Hillary did.

They could show that these legal challenges are unwarranted by showing there is nothing to them by transparency. Why are the dems against transparency on this issue.

We'll see. Somehow, I just don't see you guys being magnanimous in defeat.

And he still wasn't more popular overall.

Also, comparing his results in this election against hers in the last election is silly, since this one had significantly higher turnout.

Why are the dems against transparency on this issue.
Where are you getting that the Democratic Party is against transparency? So far as I'm aware, nobody in the Democratic Party has made any attempt to stop Trump's litigation. Now, they're not supporting it, but that's likely because the evidence for the sort of fraud that conservatives are alleging is scant.

I'm sorry, what kind of transparency are you wanting? Republicans have observers in the locations that votes are being counted and are able to see the ballots. And what would seeing ballots convince you of? are you going to count millions of ballots by yourself? And the ballots themselves aren't going to have any information as to who sent them in -- there is this idea of a "secret ballot" in America.

I'm just not sure what it is, exactly, that you think you need to see?

One example is that it is still unclear if PA segregated the late arriving ballots as ordered by the US supreme court. Why don't we know this yet?

You'd have to ask the Republican leaning Supreme Court that question, why have they delayed handing down a decision on a case filed by Republicans. Not sure how you can blame the Democrats here, or election officials.
