Are You Known By God?

I recently asked God about how would we recall his Word, if we were in a situation where we don't have the Bible any more. He brought to mind that His truth brings joy to one's heart. Or in other words, a burning?

The source of the scriptures, the source of everything good is God and his love is not different from his wisdom because God is one. Knowledge without love is cold snow.

But I hope we know him in ourselves. the burning inside presupposes that something in us can know him. It must be God burning in us that lets us know who he is. For we are his offspring, as someone once said.

I like the verse in 2 Timothy 2:19 that says, "Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."
