Yes as I understand it they were 100 feet away. So the court moved them and I understand that the votes being processed were then move away from them again. Why should this even be a problem? If you are not doing anything wrong who cares how close the observers get.

I thought it went from 10 to 6, but it went from 20 to 6.

Philadelphia Court Decision: Poll Watchers Now Allowed Within 6 Feet Of Ballot Counting At Pennsylvania Convention Center

What was very funny was when the lawyers basically tried to say the had no poll watchers and tried to get cute with a different judge about the number of observers there. She gave a what has been described as a thinly veiled threat to report him to the bar.

Nah, just random idiots believing nonsense on social media aren't official observers so they don't automatically get granted entrance to the count venues.
How odd that they don’t let just anyone hang out watching people trying to do a valuable job under a great deal of pressure from idiots that don’t know how elections work.

"This is very important because, as you know, they have kept us away," Bondi said. Trump campaign officials complained that they were blocked by a barricade and security officers from entering the room where ballots were being tallied or allowed in the room at a 50 to 100-foot distance.Trump campaign claims Philadelphia defying court-ordered election observation
from what ever it was, it is now 6 ft Pennsylvania judge permits campaign observers up-close view of ballot count after Trump complaint
BTW, what is Biden’s lead now?

There were “non-zero” GOP observers. Priceless.

Remember the rule.

Whatever they are doing that is not admirable, THEY WILL SAY THAT the Conservatives (GOP, "the Right," Trumpers, whatever) are the ones doing it instead.

Such is the rule that is followed even if the claim looks bogus or farfetched on its face--as happened with this thread's original post. But that is the way disinformation works.

Some people will believe it anyway and then will repeat it, others will just wonder whom to believe, and some others of course won't; but the overall effect is to have the people be unsure of what is true, thereby unofficially exonerating the wrongdoers. It is a well-rehearsed tactic.

The irony here, since this is something Trump has been accused of for a good chunk of his adult life. Perhaps we can listen to Ted Cruz back in 2015:

"This man is a pathological liar. He doesn't know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. And he had a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology textbook. His response is to accuse everybody else of lying. He accuses everybody on that debate stage of lying, and it's simply a mindless yell. Whatever he does, he accuses everyone else of doing. [emphasis mine] The man cannot tell the truth, but he combines it with being a narcissist. A narcissist at a level I don’t think this country has ever seen. Donald Trump is such a narcissist, that Barack Obama looks at him and goes, ‘Dude, what’s your problem?’ Everything in Donald’s world is about Donald. And he combines being a pathological liar, and I say pathological because I actually think Donald—if you hooked him up to a lie-detector pass, he could say one thing in the morning, one thing at noon, and one thing in the evening, all contradictory, and he'd pass the lie-detector test each time."

This claim that it is Democrats doing this is straight out of the DJT playbook, and yet another prime example of Trump projecting his flaws onto everyone else, while not taking accountability for his own flaws.

That's right, who cares?

This is just political theatre by an elitist super wealthy president who cries whenever he doesn't get what he wants. When ever he gets the opportunity to choose the dignified path or the disgraceful path, he always chooses to act disgracefully.
The courts care and so should every citizen that believes in the rule of law. Requiring that the law is followed is not disgraceful if you value our laws.

And what would that have to do with obeying the laws that ensure fair elections? Looks like the courts will be deciding exactly how many votes the candidates have. "The order, signed by conservative Justice Samuel Alito, left open the possibility that the justices could exclude the late-arriving ballots in a subsequent ruling, a move which Alito and at least two other conservative justices have previously signaled they may be inclined to take" Supreme Court orders separate count of late-arriving Pa. ballots

Everyone is requesting that laws be followed, but that is not what Trump is asking for.

Trump is baselessly claiming that the election is being stolen without offering any evidence to support his claim.

He was trying to get his army of lawyers to stop the counting in states he was winning and to continue counting is states he was losing. It's beyond the pale.
Spoilt, privileged rich kid crying and getting his army of lawyers in an attempt to out muscle, in a financial sense, his opponent. It's not going to work, and he looks pathetic in trying.

Can I ask, exactly what law do you think has been broken?

have you considered that Trumps lawyers are not going to be able to get anything done without a court order, which means that the request would have to have a legal reason. The president cannot just snap his fingers and get anything done that he wants done, we are a nation of laws. Now if there is a legal justification for what Trump wants to do then the courts will take action. Trump is simply exercising his rights under the law and we should not have any problem with anyone doing that now should we.

I would not be the person to ask, his lawyers seem to think they have a legal basis, they will go to court and if the judge agrees that the law as been broken or appears to have been broken they will resolve the issues.

The judge ordered the observers be allowed to observe, what a concept.
After the Trump lawyer admitted having “non-zero” observers, the judge tossed the suit because the two sides had agreed on the logistics of “observing”.
