The key to Biden is his willingness to reach out to others who disagree with him, to get things done to make America a better place.

In this time of sometimes-crazed divisiveness like that faked video, purporting to be smuggled ballots,
Conservatives claim viral video is proof of voter fraud in Detroit — here is what it really shows
On Thursday, a video made the rounds on conservative media, showing a man in dark clothing rolling a suitcase out of a secure elections center in Detroit, Michigan and loading it into a wagon. Right-wing commentators like Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett speculated that this suitcase could have been full of stolen ballots.

However, according to WXYZ News, this man was not committing a crime and the suitcase didn’t contain any ballots. Instead, he was one of their cameramen, leaving the scene with his camera equipment.
Conservatives claim viral video is proof of voter fraud in Detroit — here is what it really shows

Original story here:
Video falsely claims possible voter fraud in Detroit. It actually shows a WXYZ photographer loading camera gear.

Biden is a uniter, not a divider. And we need a president like him, right now.

Biden breaks Obama record for most votes

Does it seem unlikely that Biden is the most popular presidential candidate in American history? I have my doubts.

So do I, considering how few people showed up at his rallies. Also the attitude of those who said they were going to vote for him giving the reason, "....because I hate Trump".

...you do understand all those votes count just as much as any other ones, right? Just like all those people who vote for President Trump to "Own the libs!" votes still count as well.
tulc(votes are votes) :)

Lol.. sorry but I believe they are reading this the wrong way. Its vote for Trump or vote for Biden.

We have very close friends (believers) that voted for Biden. Praise GOD. All this does is give the left an even more reason to change how we VOTE.

IF <---see that? IF what some are saying is true about the votes.. then how many of that 70mil are real? If it was Trump that same question would be fact.

They've had nothing but half truths and misrepresentations of Trumps words shoved down their throats every day by a media who cares nothing for truth...

It's little wonder those who eat it for breakfast don't like Trump. But people aren't teaching critical thinking, logic, and reading comprehension anymore either, they just eat what they are told to eat and smile while they do it.
I first saw and heard Trump extensively in the 1990s.

I don't rely on other people's viewpoints of someone that I can see and hear for myself, directly, in actual real life excerpts and speeches and debates and so on, minutes at a time, with my own eyes and ears. And and a lot, millions, are like me in that. And Trump has frankly said a lot of offensive to me things, and millions have a similar view.

Which we did not get 2nd hand from someone else.

In fact, my view began in the 1990s, as I saw Trump over and over in the local New York City news, and saw him talking for minutes at a time in interviews and such.

Myself. My own impression. Not 2nd hand. Unfortunately he didn't change a lot, and if anything became worse in some qualities.

I think an important part of the discussion (snip)

uhmmm...nothing in your post (or the one after it) had anything to do with this thread. If that's what you'd like to discuss shouldn't you start a different thread about it?

Hi Tulc. It does have to do with the elections, because this corona panic has been created all along, has decided wich institutions close and open, wich news are alowed to air and wich not - and has influenced the way elections in your coutry are made. I believe the corona panic was deliberately created for a hidden agenda.

Have you watched the news? Last I saw on Fox they have 48 seats for dems so far and 48 for republicans with 2 going to independents (?) From the looks of their little side view ticker thing... (But i haven't watched tv in about a day)

But on CBS who is reporting AP data is saying 47 dems and 48 republican so far, and not seeing anything about the independents on there.

It's almost seeming like we may end up in a tie - if so, whomever is VP is the tie breaker, although I did catch Tucker Carlson on YouTube and hes saying he believes we will hold the Senate..

Just curious that.. depends on how many ballots are found I suppose.
Yes, it's interesting Democrats lost House seats!

Democrats lost some House seats, yet Biden was clearly popular and looks to win.

That's yet another sign that some Republicans and a lot of independents (more than just a tiny sliver clearly) voted for Biden and Republicans other than Trump.

It is erroneous to equate most votes with most popular...

The reality is people are voting against Trump, very few democrats actually like Biden.

Indeed, for all the talk against Biden not speaking enough from Trump... the feeling of democrats was it's much better he say nothing because he isn't a progressive, he doesn't want most of the things the democratic base wants... he is basically a republican that accepts science.

Biden breaks Obama record for most votes

Does it seem unlikely that Biden is the most popular presidential candidate in American history? I have my doubts.

By this reasoning then Trump is the second most popular candidate in American history.

There are over 15 million more voters this cycle than last. Which I find suspect in of itself. They are projecting 159.8 million votes cast.

Prior to this Obama's first term had about 69.5 million votes, the most ever and he was like a rock star. By tomorrow Trump will surpass this number. Both candidates have or will surpass 70 million votes.

Since both candidates have surpassed every other candidate in history in vote count it shows a polarization of the people into opposing camps. This is not an indication of popularity as we know both these candidates suck, it's an indication of a coming civil war.

Why do you find it suspect if 10% more people voted?

Biden breaks Obama record for most votes

When I got married, my guest’s dining choices were steak, chicken, and vegan pasta. An overwhelming number of guests chose the chicken. Seriously, 41 chose chicken with lobster risotto side, 8 chose steak and with blue cheese stuffed potato side, one chose pasta and salad.

Does it seem more likely that my guests would say chicken is their favorite food ever or that they’d say, given the choices, that was their preference in that particular context?

Us. Pop 325 million people, 23 percent of the population are minors. We also have a large non citizen population. Then you have the fact that in American culture many don't vote (such as myself) anywhere because of not feeling like it, to a form of protest etc. Am I really going to believe so many people voted. 160 million out of a supposed 230 million during an epidemic for 2 unpopular candidates shattering the all time record?

This election so far has just over 142 million votes cast... (they are still counting)

There were in 2018; 153,066,000 registered voters in the United States. In 2020 there are more, although I don't have the number.

You are correct though, very few are actually sitting this election out if the tally is to be believed - but for sake of fairness, this was probably the most important election since Lincoln's election just prior to the civil war...

The reason is because it will decide our nations fate, how we will go forward from here.

Will we be peacekeepers in the world at large and largely stay out of the politics of other nations (thus avoiding unnecessary wars) while keeping a strong military for all just in case factors - not bowing down to evil men?

Will we be a nation with borders or will we hand over our national sovereignty to a small group of individuals like England did with the E.U.? No longer in control of major laws such as the right to bear arms and the number of immigrants we accept, deciding for ourselves which ones to accept...

Will we overrule the two party system and set up the perfect storm for single party rule?

Will we interpret laws according to the intent of those who wrote them or will we interpret it according to whatever we want it to mean?

The fossil fuel industry is 10% of our GDP... Will we allow that to be destroyed and become energy dependant on other nations? Or will we foster an environment that allows that to flourish?

Will we kowtow to China and watch them take our place on the global stage? Help them as they steal our industry, our copyrights and destroy our middle class?

The health care industry in this nation is 15% of our nations economy... Will we raise everyone's taxes in order to cover a state run healthcare system? How good does anyone suppose that will be when the government can't even provide decent health care to veterans... ?

These are just a few of the major issues, and this is an election, probably the last election, that will decide and set up for many of these issues.

They had already started, all their dreams of a destroyed America was within their grasp, then we elected Trump to stop it, and stop it he did so long as he was in office...

We won't be able to stop it now... Biden represents the end of our nation as we have known it.

So, two candidates who are reasonably disliked or not, this election was going to have turn out because all of us knew what this meant.

That's the thing. Usually you only find a number on "eligible" voters when only registered voters matter. They are estimating that 159+ million votes have been cast in this election. More than all registered voters in the entire country just 4 years ago. I said in my previous post that15 million more votes were cast than in the previous election. It's actually closer to 30 million more so yes I'm skeptical that many voted.

This talk about swing voters in this thread is also nonsense. I know people that have crossed party lines on both sides of the aisle. The fact is both candidates have SHATTERED (or will shatter it by tommorow) the all time record popular vote count which was held by Obama 2008. Trump is within 500,000 votes of Obama's 2008 all time record with 17 million more votes to count!!!
