I've used jb weld but I thought with baking for 6 hrs it could possibly melt. I only used the pan once, I refuse to buy another one until I get my use out of it, lol. Maybe I will see something at the store I can use. I doubt what you and the op's suggestions would be at a grocer, lol. I will try the solder just in case it decides it will work. Getting the metal hot is the secret to getting it to stick but as you said not on aluminum maybe.
Thanks

let us know how the solder goes.

Not typical solder, but you can also try this or the like. Not sure if you would need a video specifically dealing with holes or not.

Hi!
It seems to me that every conversation with Christians ultimately ends up being about hell. So in this thread, any discussion of hell is forbidden.
We can discuss anything else.

So what is everyone up to today?

I am finishing off rewiring the electrical in the boat,

everything is working perfect, just waiting now for a remote display to the solar controller.

Blessed Samhain!

The weather is set to be really nice today, we have a blue moon tonight. I'm ready to watch spooky movies and hand out candy!

Plus I'm hosting a very small Samhain ritual tonight with a couple of friends. It'll be a wonderful time!

I hope everyone has a wonderful halloween. Does anyone else have any plans?

I do not really have any plans. Downloaded Infamous Second Son, and enjoying it thus far. Kind of funny though considering the game takes place in Seattle just like The Last Of Us Part 2. Guess I'm in for another rainy game, lol.

Blessed Samhain to you, Zoness, and to all others who observe the day!

We've rigged a candy chute for socially-distanced delivery of trick-or-treat candy, but so far no trick-or-treaters.

Tomorrow is All Saints' Day for us, and our parish will be returning to in-person worship for the first time in 8 months. It requires a lot of caution, masks, and so on, but also it will be good to return to our sacred space.

I wish you a wonderful experience of the sacred in your own ritual this evening, Zoness.

Mostly got chores done this morning.
Watched Over the Garden Wall as per tradition.
Had dinner, then went Trick or Treating with my daughter. Last year, the roads were closed and there was a huge town party with hundreds of people. This year, I think we saw less than a dozen people and most houses just had a table with candy out front.

Not much going on now, got candles going and sipping some mead.
Not doing much of a ritual tonight, but tomorrow I'm hitting the shore at the crack of dawn to look for birds. There's a little trail that goes off to the woods and I plan on doing a little ritual by this big tree where I often see ospreys, crows, and a great blue heron.

Happy Samhain to all those who celebrate it. And happy Beltane to all those in the Southern Hemisphere. Apparently its Beltane here as it's a seasonal holiday following the wheel of the year? Please correct me if I got that wrong. (I'm in Australia).

Its Sunday for me and I'm having a lazy day binge-watching American Gods on Prime and hanging out with my dogs.

Hey thanks! Always nice to hear from you @PloverWing take care at your return to services, if you're careful I am sure it will go well but this season is going to be hard. My wife teaches K-5 and the kids are really struggling with procedures and we're really trying to be careful since my mom is immunocompromised and my dad has brain cancer and is currently on chemo.

Yep you're correct; the holidays correspond to the seasons rather than the literal dates. Thanks! Have you read the original book about American Gods? Pretty good book, I haven't watched the second season of the show but I enjoyed its take on the book.

No I didn't know it was a book, I'll have to get it, I'm upto episode 3 of the second season, we only started watching a few days ago. We're pretty addicted.

Already completed about 54% of the game in one day. Heard it was short, which is fine.

Been into a movie mood lately.. watched Children Of A Lesser God and The Elephant Man. Both excellent flicks.

I'm amazed Trump did as well as he did last night.. win or lose I thought it would be more of a knock out for Biden. Don't really care who wins.. both of them are pretty meh for me.

Wish Jesse Ventura ran.. lol.

Yeah, the Blue Wave turned out not to be a thing which is exceptionally disappointing.
Biden wasn't my first choice, but I would have voted for a lima bean before voting for Trump.

Wait, was a lima bean running?

Videos like this make me want a PS5 even more. I somewhat regret not preordering one. Pretty disappointed with the graphics thus far, but the controller seems pretty next gen. Although at this point in time few of the launch games really interest me.

Looking forward to picking one up but I got some PS4 games to wrap up, odds are I'll take the PS4 off the rack and hide it behind one of my PC monitors and run it on one of those monitors while also continuing to play Danganronpa on a different PC monitor. :D

Heard Walmart will have some online sales tomorrow and next week for the PS5. Might be a chance for me to snatch one up.

In other news I just finished listening to a very sober report about Covid in my state made by my Governor. Wish we had someone like him to lead the country during this pandemic. He's so clear with his speaking and rational. Although I do not agree with his decision to exempt places of worship during this stricter lockdown the next few weeks. It's not going to kill worshippers to resort to Zoom or whatever for the next few weeks, lol.

I agree with you on this. Our governor has made a similar exemption, I assume so he wouldn't get pushback from the churches. But the virus does what it does; it doesn't stop infecting people just because you're praying instead of partying.

Yeah this is especially frustrating because I would have expected churches to adapt like the rest of us after the stress of the first round of lock downs but they tend to think of themselves as special. I am very appreciative of the churches who have played along to help us all out.

As my wife says "the virus is not over because you are over it". She's an elementary teacher in a living hybrid nightmare right now.
