All I wrote and your response is absolutely nothing that I said. I never said Satan was a superstition at all. Your acting superstitious by trying to shame people. A virus isn't bad or good, it is what it is and you trying to attribute shame to people doesn't help those that have this virus.

Satan is not behind everything bad sometimes things happen like someone might hit their finger with a hammer, for them that is bad but Satan wasn't behind that. There are a million things that happen and to people they can be bad but that doesn't mean that Satan is behind every little thing it is that idea that is superstitious and giving Satan power he doesn't have. In many ways your giving Satan more power than God.
You are mistaken, how could I say satan has more power than god?
God uses satan to make all the cruel of this world. I believe that.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Somehow the idea that God uses satan as a sock puppet with teeth to abuse us, hardly sounds like the God who rewards those that diligently seek Him. Ask yourself, which God have you come to?

I think different. The devil is behind the coronavirus.

I can argue that all viruses are the handiwork of Satan, with his nature visible in both their not-quite-living structure and their demon-like method of attack. But that has no more or less spiritual significance than the falling of the tower of Siloam.

Paul suffered a chronic eye problem (which was not his "thorn in the flesh"). Epaphroditus suffered an ailment severe enough to require him to quit his missionary travels with Paul. Timothy suffered chronic stomach ailments.

Jesus made it clear that in this fallen world, "stuff happens," and it happens to the righteous as well as the unrighteous.

Sin is like a virus.

It infects all of creation and causes it to malfunction.

Since the whole planet is infected with sin, blaming one person specifically compounds the problem and is incorrect at the same time.

Since we have sin in our own bodies, this results in our mind infected with sin relating the presence of sin in the creation as an entity mirroring our own selfishness - usually as a demon.

However, these "demons" cannot be exorcised. The hope is, confession and transparency works really well against sin, as the bible teaches.

Why do you ask that...

Frankly, because your ideas are quite abnormal. You give Satan almost god like powers, give him legions upon legions of demons, and make assertions that are wild and outlandish. Like the outlandish belief that Christ was never ill, do you realize what you are even saying? I'll break it down your basically saying that Christ was not like us when Scripture says he was.

By saying everything bad is from Satan which is demonstrably not true.

I replied analogous post in this thread, satan is not higher than god but is the prince of this world as the bible says. "Jesus never ill, I believe it because Jesus used to heal people and not the opposite.
That's why I think it is a shame, in my opinion, to get some viruses like AIDS, for example.

he used to heal people, if he got ill for a moment he could cure himself... in brief, I believe he was never ill

Well we won't know one way or the other until we get to heaven.
But that doesn't mean that illness is a sign of sin, judgement or lack of faith.

That isn't nice with the participants of any thread.

Maybe not.
But you have said that you believe that the Corona virus is from the devil, those who get it are touched by the devil and if that is a Christian, they should feel shame. So if a Christian said to you "I have the Corona virus", you are making a judgement that they have been touched by the devil. Even if you don't say it to them, that, it seems, is your belief.

That, itself, is not nice.

Are you not able to stay on Christian topics using the words from the bible? You cannot take an idea from the bible and say "The devil used it, therefore it is no longer Christian!"

The Secret and the Law of Attraction are New Age influences on the Church. If someone is accusing you of being supportive of either I'd suggest giving it serious consideration. Both are happy to use scripture to support their thinking, the problem is that they are selective in their use. It is why they are creeping into the church so easily.

Let God's word be true and every man a liar.

Firstly not every man is a liar else you end up with a contradiction in that if Paul is liar, then so is God's word. It would also mean that you are a liar, which I hope you are not.

Therefore not every man is a liar.

We have no indication in the scriptures that he never got ill, but we have every indication that he became human... and part of being human is suffering with illness.

And whether Jesus ever got ill or not is irrelevant, because Christians clearly got and get ill.

Scripture never says Jesus was never ill. He was fully human which means he had illnesses just like any other person. It is not a shame in any way to get a virus.

Confess where? to whom?

Transparency?
1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This is because exposing sin to the light of God removes it.

Living in transparency is letting the light of God shine through you, with no sin hidden in your heart, like Adam. (who hid sin in his heart.)
