what is "emcee squared"? (Assume it is not the master of ceremonies stuffed into a box) :)
E=mc2.

We used to be able to use the bb codes for superscripts and subscripts, but can't anymore; and I don't like saying E=mc2.

Science misinterprets and mislabels things.

You only say that because of your prescriptive beliefs that you feel are contradicted by findings in science.

IOW, "Science reveals things about the universe that makes me uncomfortable and I don't like it."

However, the purpose of science is not to placate yours or anyone else's personal beliefs.

I have a lot of fond memories of the Museum when I visited. Staff were friendly as were the patrons, and the grounds were a great site for a picnic. However, if I was to pick a true stand out favourite, it would have been the conversation between a girl (~12) and her younger sister (~8) standing in front of a diorama of the ark rising on flood waters with a bunch of lions, tigers, bears and people desperately perched on the last bit of dry land

Younger Sister: What's going to happen to all the lions and tigers?
Older Sister: They're all going to drown
Younger Sister: But why? Why do all the animals have to drown
Older Sister: Well, God can't save all of them

At that stage the younger girl burst into tears and ran away.

Christianity in a nutshell for me.
Actually, the alleged god wished them to die.

Oh how we have distorted what went on at the flood. We have made it into God destroying a disneyland. Of course satan sure would want it to seem that way.

Big ole meanie God
Big ole meanie god
  • killed all the first born in Egypt -- what had they done wrong.
  • drowned pharaoh's army -- it's a habit of drowning people
  • killed 43 youngsters by proxy of two bears -- for just a little bit of mockery
  • let Satan kill all of Job's children, servants and cattle -- what had they done wrong
  • let the hebrews kill all the Canaanites.
Big ole meanie god indeed.

Science didn't mislabel Pluto? science didn't misinterpret Nebraska Man?

How about E=mc^2 ? or E=mc^2 -- ok so that is not easy without supper script... got it.

Does me protecting or not protecting the unborn somehow absolve god -- almighty, all knowing and just?
No.

Do you want Him to handle it Himself, personally, or not?

Then you question beside the point and an obvious attempt at obfuscation.
Translation: Since you're making a good point, I'm not going to answer your question.

Thanks to science, which likes to play the role of historian.

Science should stick to things like E being emcee squared, and SN1987A being 168,000 light years away, and how to build a better mousetrap; and leave our history to the Expert.

I would blame many christians/churches, they have made this event into a nice cute little children's story.

That is sciences roll to oppose Gods creation or at least lie about it.

Nope, to both.
Who labeled Pluto our ninth planet? then, seventy-six years later, voted it a dwarf planet because it didn't meet their new expectations?

Or are you saying it wasn't mislabeled at the time, because it did fit the definition of a planet, and was only changed because the definition of "planet" changed?

Also, who interpreted a tooth found as belonging to Hesperopithecus haroldcookii?

He is also going to wipe out a satanic lead revolt that will take millions if not billions of lives.

Good point.

But they do keep the wicked, wicked; and the clean, clean.

Singlehandedly!

Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
