Those are called whistle blowers, and we have procedures for that. This isn't whistle blowing.
Someone inside of an organization sees something illegal, immoral, or just plain wrong, and outs it to the world.

Is that your definition of a whistle blower?

Yes. Unless it's political and instead of coming forward to stand by your statements, you stay concealed in order to continue your subversion.

Well, given that so many people from inside the trump administration have done that, up to and including John Bolton, then ergo, by your acknowlegdgement of what the definition of whistle blower is, these people are all whistle blowers and NOT traitors.

I'd settle for a lesser charge that put them in prison for some number of years
Odd that you advocate for prison time for Miles Taylor, and yet refuse to address the trump administration corruption, scandal and wrongdoings he and many others were witness to.

IOW punish the whistleblowers, ignore the crimes he or she witnessed.

It’s not illegal to undermine ones boss or act against their interests. The penalty for that is being fired not prosecuted much less hung.

Turns out it was a nobody and a Democratic Party asset anyhow.
Even a nobody can be witness to corruption, scandal and crime.

Also, Miles Taylor is a Republican and was a trump appointee.

IOW you are bearing false witness against Miles Taylor.

Unelected, unknown, unaccountable policy saboteurs working against the will of the people... isn't a constitutional check on the executive branch, it's treason.

Trump wasn't elected by the will of the people, he was elected by the electoral college, which represented a minority of people.

Two things. First off treason is the only crime specified in the Constitution. "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. Second, he was accountable. He was a political appointee and could be removed at any time by the President or Secretary of Homeland security.
