Ezekiel 33:18 says,
“When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity,
he shall die because of it.”

Yet another verse that refutes OSAS.
Not only that, but if this verse is misread like the other one (#1239) was, it means that there is no hope for anyone who ever sins after conversion. Is THAT really your position?

I simply wanted you to show me what part, but if you cannot...honestly, that is what I expected, but thought I'd give benefit of the doubt before I drew conclusion
If you truly saw no answer to your question in my post then you just don’t have eyes to see. There is really no point in you answering my question from my post because I already know the obvious answer.

The harmony of the Bible:

Ezekiel 33:18 KJV When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby....For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.2 Peter 2:20 KJV

I hope not, I was very clear, no fooling intended.
You just wanted me to say yes to your loaded question (with no explanation) so you could uphold your gospel of works. That is a tactic used by lawyers.

This subject is really not as hard to understand as the critics are making it seem.

Not sure how highlighting the word in red here helps disproves what I said.
The OSAS Proponent thinks he always stands because he is once saved always saved. But Paul is saying to the believer to take heed in how we stand unless we fall. This is said in context to those who tempted Christ and were destroyed of serpents during the time of Moses.

I can't, nor do I want to force you to say yes, I only want to make note of the fact you are doing as you like to do so much, and dancing around the answer.

You say I am not fooling you, then you know perfectly well what the simple answer to the question is, and you are not fooling me.

I gave you a thorough explanation in my post. I find this interesting:

Matthew 25:37 - Then the righteous (who are the righteous? *See Romans 4:5-6) will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Do you find it strange that the righteous ask, “Lord when did we do all these things?” All you focus on is works (as if we are saved by works) and you miss the big picture.

No, you all are constantly laying blame that is what we do, but it has never once been true, and you have no proof it is true. The reason you think that is because the issue, hence focus from our end is always on the works, and whether they are necesary, so you all twist the fact, all we talk about is works into we dont need faith.

Now, I could say, you all are about nothing but faith only because your focus actually is on that, but that would actually be true, while we push both faith and works.

Faith without works is dead, so they have to go hand in hand.

“Faith without works is dead" does not mean that faith is dead until it produces works and then it becomes a living faith or that works are the source of life in faith or that we are saved by works. James is simply saying faith that is not accompanied by evidential works demonstrates that it’s dead. If someone merely says-claims they have faith but lack resulting evidential works, then they have an empty profession of faith/dead faith and not authentic faith. (James 2:14) Simple!

It means, if you don't do works, your faith is dead, or it does not exist.

unfortunately that is his exact position.

He already said David and Moses were lost after they sinned and I challenged him with Peter and his hypocrisy and he said the bible was silent on the issue. Well here is a newsflash is silent on David and Moses as well. The fact is they were never lost.

Isn’t that what I just said? ;) Pay close attention to the words “says” or “claims” he has faith in James 2:14.

Good then. You have a terrible habit of complicating things in attempt to be right, so when you make a post that may be right, I tend to think the worst, in that it's just more of the same.

So, now that you think you may finally have it right, here is a simple question test for you.

After reading the following scripture, tell me, is faith alone enough to get us to heaven, or do we also need to obey Christ, as in taking care of the poor, and not doing evil as a lifestyle? It is not a trick question.

“Those who believe in the Son have eternal life, but those who do not obey the Son will never have life. God’s anger stays on them.” John 3:36
