What does the voice of God sound like?
I don't hear an audible voice when I "hear" from God. It's more an internal thing, like reading something, or remembering something. When you read a book, you don't audibly hear the characters' voices, but your mind "hears" them in one fashion or another. Likewise, when you remember something someone said, you aren't audibly hearing their voice again, it's just your brain recalling it inwardly. It's more like that for meWhat does the voice of God sound like?
What does the voice of God sound like?
The voice of God sounds like Jesus.
Still, small, and quiet. Then other times when He speaks to me it sounds like my voice.
Then sometimes His voice sounds like the sound of others when they give instruction or other helpful counsel. I've yet to hear the voice of God sounding like booming thunder. But I'm still waiting for that.
Always, however, does the sound of God's voice resonate with scripture. (The words of Jesus and His writers)
Inward whisper as in like a thought maybe?inwardly like a whisper ..... outwardly of which won't be until His return .... then it will be loud ... like thunder.
Revelation 14:1-5
Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder.
don't know about you .... but I've heard thunder unbelievably loud at times ;o)

How do you discern between it and your thoughts.Sometimes, yeah There's not an audible voice, it's not like someone is literally in the room with me. It's more like an impression. It's a bit hard to describe if you haven't experienced it, I guess! Like, you'll just know something that you didn't know two seconds before. It hits you deeply within your spirit, your soul. It's pretty amazing.
How do you discern between it and your thoughts.
