Because Jesus does not have anymore Apostles. He only appeared to one person after His ascension and that was Paul.

Some decades ago a then well known radio/TV evangelist said he saw a 900 foot tall Jesus and that God told him if he did not raise a certain amount of money by a certain date God was going to take him out.
