With God all things are possible. I've got mental illness too but that doesn't stop me from pursuing my dreams. Some of the past posts I've made on here are cringeworthy. Besides don't you want rewards and things once you get to Heaven?

Oh I'm still trying but it's tough to keep trying to build your life all over again due to mental collapses. It's like I'll think I'll have figured it out and things still fall apart anyways. Reminds me of what Jordan Peterson(famous clinical psychologist) told one of his clients "No you don't get it. You are screwed no matter what you do." Thats how mental illness is. Of course you should still aim for something but don't get your hopes up because things can completely collapse before you know it.

Well I've never heard of Jordan Peterson, but I choose to renew my mind with the word of God. And He says better things will accompany salvation. (Among the other precious promises He gives.)

Yeah but if you have a mental illness you know what it's like. Everything is going well, you are stable, you are making progress toward your goals, then you are flooded with symptoms that turn your world upside down and you just can't function anymore no matter what you do. Thats been my experience at least. Sure there are things you can do to give yourself a better chance but conventional wisdom can be thrown out the door when you are in an episode. All you can do then is wait it out and these things happen regardless of what you do. These are neurodegenerative illnesses. That means things get worse over time. I think diet, exercise, meds help but trying to give yourself expectations or goals based on your potential and not the reality that you do have an illness and because of that you won't reach your potential can just be frustrating. I know my potential was high at one point but thats irrelevant since I have an illness that makes fulfilling my potential impossible. I did try though so I have no regrets.

OK, fair enough. However, in case you decide to ever step out more and attempt to serve God, I've written a blog post entitled 5 Motives For Serving God. It's there if you wanna take a gander. Thanks for chatting and sharing!

To be honest, there may be a time when the enemy tries to use some of my past comments even on CF to disparage me for future work with influential men.

Everything is fair game. You can pay for a scrub and have things removed on your behalf. That's probably ideal. It cleans up your digital footprint. As a rule, I don't share anything on here I can't say on a stage. That's my benchmark.

People have ideas all the time. Implementing them is another matter. The majority never do. I remember reading Big Magic. The author said someone approached her during a book signing and said she'd had the same idea and went on to explain. She knew she was telling the truth because she'd experienced the same with someone else. An idea she passed on was given to a friend. The friend received it and ran with it. But she never told the friend. Inspiration doesn't hang around forever. Use it or lose it.

I don't worry about anyone stealing my ideas. They don't have my knowledge, experience, connections, etc. They can never be me. Nor can they take away anything God ordained on my behalf.

I shared an idea the Lord gave me not too long ago with someone on CF. It was for the other person but I was part of it. I laid it out. I wasn't bothered by doing so. I can implement it right now. I have all the pieces in place. Whether we work as pair or not. I can use what I received for other projects. That's a win/win either way.

Don't worry about ideas. Doing is the linchpin. You'll always have people who refuse to pull the trigger. They drag their feet, procrastinate, and get left behind.

~Bella

I think the biggest takeaway for me in that is the fact what you said about God ordaining certain things for the individuals. All I have to do is wait in faith for that and it's definitely mine. Even the Lord has told me noone will steal them. But it still crosses my mind. There have been several companies where the founders or CEOs stole the ideas of the startups from others and ran with them. I believe Facebook is one of them. All in all, I should rest in God's providence though.

But were they in Christ? Or working for the other? :)

All good things come from God. Any idea you have hails from Him. You received it because He wanted you to. It could have been given to another. What you do with it is up to you.

We are our own worst enemies. We get bogged down by limited thinking, what-ifs, and fear. But when you operate on the frequency of I AM, 'I am' is your reality. If the Lord says you're an entrepreneur that's it. His word is final. You walk within the fullness of His truth. Not your own.

I obviously needed a reminder. That's why we're having this conversation. His sense of humor is too much. :p

You need to surround yourself with wise companions. They'll help you stay on the narrow road when fear and uncertainty rears its head. We all experience it. :)

As for potential suitors, the person should respect your calling to the degree they're unwilling to hinder what God desires on your behalf. Even if means letting you go. Everyone can't go where you're going. If they desire what's best for you, they won't hold you back.

Very few will do so. You need to know what you require to reach the mountaintop. Don't compromise.

The most important person you mentioned (a wife) is going to be hard enough. (But God is able)

The other wise companions aren't going to be easy to come by either. When the majority of leaders are busy seeking to build their own kingdoms, it gets very tiresome and frustrating. For example: Not too long ago I approached the Pastor of what I consider to be the greatest church in my city, and I asked him about a ministry concept that I had on my mind. I was trying to get from him on whether or not he had it in his plans to launch this ministry or if God had put it on my heart to do it. I pitched him the premise, and he looked at me and only said, "I think you're hearing from God." Then he turned away and walked off. I felt snubbed and disrespected. That's the sort of thing I deal with here in this city. So I understand the importance of getting with like-minded people. But they are few and far between.

Are you certain you're picking from the right patch? You need the support of Christian entrepreneurs. Why are you looking at pastors? Did he call you to the pulpit? My calling is to the marketplace. That's where I focus. I don't know any pastors intimately.

You have understand the difference between empire and smaller scaled ventures. Everyone isn't meant to build an empire. Their hunger is voracious. They desire scale and influence. I'm surrounded by them. They won't allow me to accept less than my best.

You need 7 and 8 figure friends. The mindset is different. Some people can't conceive that. Their feedback reflects it. :)

It's going to be both business and ministry for me. The business side will fund the vision for ministry I have since it's very large scale and will cost a lot of money. I suspect the entrepreneurs will be easier to assemble together than the preachers. But that makes sense. Chattanooga has a great hub for that. I've met some already that I think would be willing to come on board.

To be honest, there may be a time when the enemy tries to use some of my past comments even on CF to disparage me for future work with influential men. But I'll just have to trust God. In my defense, some of those times were spent while I was schizoid out (on another username). The worst they could come close to getting me on is some of my comments regarding politicians. (But that's if someone took the time to actually dig them up and put two and two together.) Those are the the most powerful people I believe I'll ever minister to. (By human standards) But to be fully transparent with you, the biggest thing that I was concerned with (which I've taken steps to take care) is the fact that, before, I drew out business plans on here that if someone were to steal would cost me a lot of money. I've since asked for those threads to be deleted, but it's still something I keep asking God to protect. (my ideas)

Wow, I just came across this thread. You should've linked my username.

I don't know if you saw the song I dedicated to you yet, but it's called "Set It Off".

You remember what we spoke about and our very similar visions (even to the name of it!).

I have shared very very key things to the Lifestyle Brand.

Remember, I even mentioned an NDA multiple times.

But, in the end, I disclosed what I did to you in faith.

Because, the work is what is most important.
And even if someone has to "steal" the idea, to keep it underway...praise Yah!

This is why a Board is top priority right now. Because this work must not be in the hands of one person, to stand or fall with them.

Yah bless you my brother.

I believe with all my heart that it is high time to "Set It Off"!

Ruach ha Kodesh...Breathe!

Amen.

If they have businesses themselves, I would like to see if they want to come on board with mine. (You'd have to know my startup's premise) Anyway, other than that I really don't need them.

Oh and for those that don't have the capital to launch themselves, I'd support theirs until they have operating expenses to take care themselves. I've only run across two people that I'd do that for though. Both are good ideas.

No, God's got that. I don't ask people for finances. That's the only way I'm going to be able to do ministry and business together. The old timers perfected the practice of moving man, through God, by prayer alone. I want to be one of them.

What do you want from them? Support? You're asking them to come on board with you. Why would they?

Collaborations happen all the time. But there's usually money involved. You're combining talent for a profit. A person could come as an advisor. They're usually compensated. It has to make sense to the business owners. There must be buy-in.

Yours in His Service,

~Bella
