It's a joke. Get a sense of humor. I don't care about the OP's post history. In fact, that post of his you shared makes me think he's a cool dude. He seems like someone who is both funny and reasonable. That's charming. You just try too hard to see "racism" in everything.
I like joking about white people dying.

My favorite!

OP was joking about double standards, not deaths. But hey, if you want to be antiwhite, more power to you. ;)
Oooo. Ouch. He wasn't joking about "double standards". He was joking that everything looks like racism to people who "want to see it".

Ultimately though, black people being harder by a disease is just a vehicle to get to the joke.

You're not laughing at black people getting sick and hit harder by the disease.

Why would a person care about that?

A poster are laughing because liberals did something. And it doesn't matter if people are going through a trouble if liberals can be made to look dumb.

New dashboard highlights COVID-19 disparities by race, ethnicity

"Data shows that Black and Hispanic/Latinx populations are over-represented among COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths compared to White Wisconsinites. Hispanic or Latinx Wisconsinites have roughly 2.4 times greater case rates, while Black Wisconsinites have more than three times greater hospitalization rates, and over double the death rate.

Health officials say the disparities could be caused by systemic racism, and socioeconomic differences across communities."
-------

There you have it, folks! If blacks didn't get treated as often for getting Covid as whites do, it's called systematic racism. But now we see that they're getting 3 times as much treatment, that is also called systematic racism.
What's the solution? Should we treat less of them in hospitals so they won't be "over-represented"???

In Mississippi the maskless whites are causing all the problems. got to blame somebody in Mississippi might as well be the white person (and especially the white male)

They always are. That's what makes it so funny.
A poster lacks the time required to explain cause and effect to the unreachable.

Trump is white and his Covid was detected early and he got early treatment. Still was hospitalized.
he also has the best medical available. the fact that he was in the hospital for such a short time indicates that he really didn't need to be there.
Now, how about responding to the points raised rather than trying to derail the topic?

I agree with the OP on this. Touchy people always find an excuse to get offended.

This is the joke:
Low number of blacks hospitalized = "systemic racism"
High number of blacks hospitalized = "systemic racism"

Your first portion of the "joke" is wrong, my guess is it is wrong purposefully so.

it should be low number of blacks with insurance = systemic racism.

either way it still isn't funny

Could be another reason why Kushner and the trump administration decided against implementing the national response they had been working on:

"So, this virus mostly kills blacks, hispanics and people in blue states. Cool. Forget rolling out the national response. We'll let it run it's course and maybe we'll see better voter numbers for us in the fall."

I want to know what the color of a person's skin has to do with them catching covid or not.

I had a feeling you'd be here to try derailing the topic (as you usually do).
How about getting back to why it's considered to be systematic racism when black people don't get the as much treatment as white people do, and it's also considered systematic racism when they get treatment in 3 times the numbers when more of them get sick?

If you believe racism causes everything....then you'll find everything is caused by racism

it has to do with poverty and insurance. Black people are far more likely to live in poverty

Might we explore why that is?
what's to explore?
7% of non-elderly whites are without health insurance in our country. 22% of non-elderly people of color are without health insurance (this number gets as as high as 36% in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas and the Carolina's) Ref: Census Bureau’s American Community Survey 2019.

4 times as many African American's as whites live in below the poverty line Ref Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement 2020

its a good thing no one believes that

Sure...

Name one disparity between blacks and whites in the US where blacks have a worse outcome that's not caused by racism...in your opinion.

Can you think of 1?

How many dying people without health insurance are turned away from hospital emergency rooms?

As far as I know, they're required to treat people without money who aren't even citizens.
