I get where the OP is coming from, a lot of preachers like to teach that God has a personal plan for us, but in reality, that is simply not biblical.

There were times in the bible where God had a plan for certain people, but as a general rule, we make our own plan, and why not? Serve God in a way that suits us, and it makes perfect sense that is how God intended it..

The final piece of the puzzle is marriage. Everything else is in place and manifesting. This was an important year on multiple levels.

One day we should have a CF get together. I will be outrageously rich by that time and will have no problem traveling. That is, when you have a husband and I have a wife. I'll fly in with Tone (if he's up for it)

At that scale, NDAs are the norm. You won't get into anyone's space without privacy guarantees. No one wants to end up in The Enquirer or The Daily Mail. :)

I'll clarify my comment for the sake of your thread. That's how its done.

However, there is a well-known television personality who had her start on Internet. I won't say her name. I've met her twice. She opened her home to several from her community who were in a similar line of work.

But she didn't have NDAs. She was being nice. They came back and trashed her horribly. She wasn't lacking before the venture. Her husband was well to do. Her work added to the coffers. You could see the jealousy and envy in their words. It was awful. I felt bad for her.

That's the reality of disparities in plenty. I mentioned my experiences in the past in a paid program I no longer participate in. For similar reasons. This is a Christian group. It reached the point where you couldn't share a success without a train wreck and accusations and other craziness.

The Lord made me stop posting. He said I needed a mastermind. I'm in one now. Many followed suit. Unfortunately, this is common. Especially, when you cross a certain threshold. You have to be discriminating about your associations.

Success requires risk management. Reputational, security, and everything in between. I have enough problems with the devil. I don't need extras. :)

Yours in His Service,

~Bella

What obstacles seen or perceived stand in your way of achieving all that God has planned for you?
Pain, disability, lack of resources.
I missed my calling, I think now I may have been intended for veterinary medicine rather than human medicine.
I'm not good with people my personality quite honestly clashes with most people (which is one reason I know that evangelism is not my calling, I can't even convince my own mother that the gospel is true, much less anyone else) but I have always been very good with animals. You know, the guy who meets a new cat at someone's house and I'm the person who not only is the cat in my lap, but exposing their belly to me, the guy who can pick up birds and pet them without having hand raised them myself.
It's too late now, I don't have the physical ability or financial resources to go that route.

Yeah going by the bible we're all supposed to be wandering preachers.

How long have you professed to be a Christian?
Longer than some people who qualify to post here have been alive.
If you haven't gotten a personal direction why not just pick a promise. Geez
If it's a promise from God, God's going to deliver it and I don't see how I would be getting in the way. If God wills something enough, he is both powerful and merciful enough to make it happen, even if my walk is just stumbling forward sometimes.

To be honest, there may be a time when the enemy tries to use some of my past comments even on CF to disparage me for future work with influential men. But I'll just have to trust God. In my defense, some of those times were spent while I was schizoid out (on another username). The worst they could come close to getting me on is some of my comments regarding politicians. (But that's if someone took the time to actually dig them up and put two and two together.) Those are the the most powerful people I believe I'll ever minister to. (By human standards) But to be fully transparent with you, the biggest thing that I was concerned with (which I've taken steps to take care) is the fact that, before, I drew out business plans on here that if someone were to steal would cost me a lot of money. I've since asked for those threads to be deleted, but it's still something I keep asking God to protect. (my ideas)

ONE thing: ego.

I take my own ego so seriously that I've often talked about the possibility of using acid or psilocybin to help kick my ego into touch - because if left to run riot? That little ego can be like a struck match in a paper mill.

With an unbridled ego, you won't listen to correction, you won't check yourself, you'll probably stop praying - and before long, you'll actually start to believe your own nonsense and assume you're always right.

Fortunately, I can recognise how damaging the ego can be (from an earlier 'messiah complex' episode - don't ask *shakes head*) so I'm making sure that I stay in check. I go looking for criticism and tend to ignore compliments. For me, it's GOOD to feel like a little fish lost in the ocean. It's where I need to be. It's in THAT state where God awaits me, ready with the mission brief.

Good thread. I felt it deserved a well thought out response.

I'd like to think that God has more or most of what he has planned for me in the next life because in this life I have a mental illness that makes living a normal life impossible. I sometimes go back and look at my posts from years ago and I can't believe some of the things i've said.

With God all things are possible. I've got mental illness too but that doesn't stop me from pursuing my dreams. Some of the past posts I've made on here are cringeworthy. Besides don't you want rewards and things once you get to Heaven?
