I don't really feel that way at all. I don't follow the politics of the leagues, I just watch the games and enjoy them. I watch NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL....it does not really bother me, even if I do not agree with their political positions. In the end it is just a game.

Well, I can understand how a fan would not want to be indoctrinated by some extremist political idea everywhere he looked during the event that's supposed to be sport.

However, it seems as though the problem varies from sport to sport, with the NBA being the worst and a perfect example of hypocrisy to boot, whereas some of the other sports are less offensive.

There is one more thing, though. That concerns the impact of late starts to the season, reshuffling of the schedules, required use of substitute players, and so on, all of which seriously devalue the meaning of whichever team becomes the league or national champion. In other words, the games might be worth watching, but the outcomes don't mean much.

You can say that because you follow all the TAMPA teams! ;)
Oh man, this is the year. I can remember going to Rays games when you could literally count the people in the stands, same for the last Bucs game I went to back in 2013. These teams are made for playing in front of empty stadiums, that's why we are excelling! ;)

I use to love watching sports but now I feel like that they are becoming anti God.

You probably need to qualify that if you have a real reason for it. The fact that a team is not professing Christian does not make it worse than the general population around us ---do you think? See 1 Cor. 9:24-25; 2 Tim. 4:7-8 as to a sport (in analogy). Sports can be entertaining, but if real immorality is much in public evidence, then one might well stay clear of that group.

Christians need to honor God and keep His Holy Word, but not stop living in this world. Truly the world in general is contrary to God (and severe judgment is pronounced on mankind) but whether at a game or elsewhere, real "born again" Christians need to be a bright testimony, (even giving out Gospel tracts to those around us). Let us live for Jesus Christ, but not seclude self from people. Would you agree with that?
