Has the Holy Spirit explicitly led you to keep the Sabbath?

Peter established Sunday keeping Ham eating churches?

Why did Paul rebuke Peter in Galatians 2?

“But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For prior to the coming of certain men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and hold himself aloof, fearing the party of the circumcision. The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, "If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews? "We are Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles; nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.”

Some even now claim Peter's seat empty and an heretical imposter in its place...they feel TOO much tradition was added...and now the office occupied by a heretic since 1960's...

they protest too...the irony

As Peter warned...wolves would come in and change times AND Law...Daniel told him that...sorry you didn't get the memo

1960? No the imposter came long before 1960. In 1181AD the pope sanctioned the inquisitions which gave the RCC the authority to arrest, imprison, torture, and in some cases execute nonbelievers. But that’s completely irrelevant because the RCC was excommunicated from the Catholic Church 130 years before that in 1054AD. So anything the RCC did after 1054AD is not sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

The 10 commandments are Old Testament law, and so are the dietary laws. And yet SDA insists that keeping these laws are mandatory for salvation. So I agree, yes if your trying to be justified by the law you must keep the entire law not just pick which ones you want to keep and ignore the ones you don’t want to keep.

again and again...NOT to justify...

but because of what HE did for US

and taught and demonstrated what the Way the Truth and the Light LOOKED LIKE...you know Torah was described as all those three yes?...and NOW the Word becoming Flesh...and DOING what the OT had intended...what was even expected in the garden PRIOR this detour of sin...

IS WHY this time around lets get it right...establish that Law our faith DOES NOT MAKE VOID...and LOVE AS HE LOVED US...live as He lived...having come to CLEARLY demonstrate between the world's way and His Way...unclean vs clean...ya dig?

Peter didn't have to please Jews who thought goyim unclean...the enmity for them NOT destroyed by His flesh...

But why DID Peter and Paul compel Gentiles to live like Jews?...

Annoying the Romans with customs not lawful for Romans to receive or observe... Acts 16:21

Maybe because "go into ALL...teaching to obey ALL I commanded you to observe..."

But why DID Peter and Paul compel Gentiles to live like Jews?...

They didn’t that was Paul’s point and why he said Peter, Barnabas, and the other Jews were being hypocrites because they would eat with the Gentiles who do not keep the dietary laws until the Jews came then they would not eat with the Gentiles for fear of persecution. Paul’s point was that Peter did not rebuke the Gentiles for their eating habits but shied away from them when the Jews were present to give a false implication that they did not condone their eating habits. That was their hypocrisy. If the Gentiles were observing Jewish eating customs Peter and the other Jews wouldn’t have had to fear the Jews persecuting them for eating with Gentiles.

You were talking about circumcision. The dietary guidelines are not in Gods commandments, but since He created us He left those for us to know what foods are good for us and which foods are not. There is a study that breaks down all of the unclean foods and research has shown they are unhealthy. I'll see if I can find it.

Seems like you ask a lot of questions, but never answer any.
ditto!

Funny Pork never hurt my Mom. She ate it all her life. Well, she only lived to be 101 and her mind was clear as a bell until three days before she passed away. Grandma only lived to be 97 and I guess she fed Grandpa too much pork because he only made it into the late 80s. Dad was a Jew and only lived to be 44. Could it have been to much kosher food? I wonder just how long old Noah would have lived if he had been prohibited from eating unclean animals.

And while we are diverting from the thread topic I might add that my whole family are among those sinful coffee and tea drinkers that your revered prophet wrote so much about. Here is one of the many statements on the topic. 741. Tea and coffee drinking is a sin, an injurious indulgence, which, like other evils, injures the soul. These darling idols create an excitement, a morbid action of the nervous system; and after the immediate influence of the stimulants is gone, it lets down below par just to that degree that its stimulating properties elevated above par.—Manuscript 44, 1896 {CD 425.3}

Here again my Mom drank coffee all the time I knew her. I would like to have a vision like Ellen did when she inspected all those SDA homes that had those dreadful sinful pictures sitting around. I would be inspecting SDA homes for coffee makers and tea bags. I bet I would find about as many coffee makers as homes. Now if it really is a sin to drink coffee and most SDAs do, would that be any difference than me skipping Sabbath. You tell me I am sinning because I am not observant and you are sinning because you drink coffee and tea, does that mean tha neither one will inherit the Kingdom?

LoveGodsWord said: The Lord's day is the Sabbath day - Matthew 12:8. There is no mention of Sunday being "the Lords day" in the bible. This is a Catholic teaching that is not biblical.
Your response here...
There’s no mention of the Bible in the Bible either or it being the word of God. How do you know the Bible is the word of God?
Your wrong again. "The Word of God" is written in 473 scriptures. The bible is the Word of God. The bible tells us that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God" 2 Timothy 3:16 and God spoke *Exodus 20:1-17 the 10 and wrote *Exodus 32:16 the commandments of which God's 4th commandment is one of them *Exodus 20:8-11.

Acts 15 the apostles abolished circumcision by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, or so they claim. How do you know that this was from the Holy Spirit and not their own “man made teaching that breaks God’s commandments”?
Circumcision is a "shadow law" pointing to a new heart by faith *Romans 2:28-29; Colossians 2:11-13; 1 Corinthians 7:19; Hebrews 8:10-12 (from Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Ezekiel 36:25-27) Deuteronomy 10:12-16 etc.

So the Spirit didn’t change God’s commandment in Acts 15?
As shown earlier through the scriptures your mixing up the prophetic "shadow laws" of things to come (eg HEBREWS 10:1-17; Colossians 2:17; Ephesians 2) from the Mosaic book of the old covenant *Exodus 24:7 with God's eternal law that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7. Sin is defined in the scriptures as not believing God's Word and breaking any one of God's 10 commandments *1 John 3:4; James 2:10-11; Romans 14:23. Sin (breaking anyone of God's 10 commandments) will keep all those who knowingly practice it outside of God's kingdom *Hebrews 10:26-31; Revelation 21:7-8 Revelation 22:15. God's 4th commandment Sabbath is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *Exodus 20:8-11. Unless we are born again by faith to love we cannot see God's kingdom *John 3:3-7. Those who have been born again, have been given a new heart by faith to love do not practice sin *Hebrews 8:10-12; Ezekiel 36:25-27. They walk in God's Spirit *Galatians 5:16 and through God's Spirit by faith establish the law *Romans 3:31; Romans 8:1-4. Those who are born again do not knowingly practice sin (breaking God's commandments) according to the scriptures *1 John 3:6-9. Those who practice sin JESUS says to depart from him because he does not know them and neither do they love him *Matthew 7:21-23; 1 John 3:6-9; John 14:15. Those who knowingly practice sin (breaking any one of God's 10 commandments) and those who do not is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil according to God's Word *1 John 3:9-10 and those who say they know God and practice sin (breaking any one of God's 10 commandments) according to the scriptures are not telling the truth *1 John 2:3-4. Time to leave the shadows of things to come. Do you still do animal sacrifices when you sin to seek God's forgiveness? If not why not *HEBREWS 10:1-17.

Ok your answer is circular. Your quoting the Bible to confirm its authenticity. Do you believe the Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is the Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy because it says it is? Or what about the Infancy gospel of Thomas how do you know it was not inspired by God?
Arr here we go. You do not believe that the bible is God's Word?

No I do believe in the Bible I also believe that you just don’t want to admit that the only way you know that the scriptures are the word of God is because the church told you. It was the church that told the world which books were inspired and which books were not. Just don’t reject the truth in order to hold to a belief. It doesn’t make much sense for the church to endure persecution and martyrdom for a lie.

Tell you how I believe God's Word is in the bible outside of the scriptures? Prophetic evidence in the fulfillment and fulfilling of nearly 8000 + prophecies and JESUS and his Spirit in my own life. Unless we are born again to love we cannot see the kingdom of Heaven *John 3:3-7

The decision made in Acts 15 had nothing to do with this commandment? “And every male among you who is eight days old shall be circumcised throughout your generations, a servant who is born in the house or who is bought with money from any foreigner, who is not of your descendants. A servant who is born in your house or who is bought with your money shall surely be circumcised; thus shall My covenant be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. But an uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant."” Genesis‬ ‭17:12-14‬ ‭NASB
According to the scriptures there are shadows laws in the old covenant of things to come *Hebrews 10:1-17; Colossians 2; Ephesians 2; Hebrews 7; Hebrews 8; Hebrews 9. What do you think the Mosaic shadow laws are of the old covenant? Do you still do animal sacrifices when you sin and want to seek God's forgiveness? If not why not? Your mixing up the shadow with God's standard of love and righteousness that give us the knowledge of good and evil; sin and rightoeusness *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119;172.

Are here you go. Is killing and stealing no longer a requirement for Christian living? What do you think 1 John 2:3-4 means as well as Hebrews 10:26-31 or Matthew 7:21-23?

Jesus said many will fall away not all.
you do understand that many falling away are actually not leaving the church but changing His times and Law yes? Would they fall away and leave believers alone...lol

Where was SDA before the 19th century?
oh wow you sure got me...oh boy what now? I mean they invented Sabbath keeping right?

Perhaps in Galatia?
nawww....not them...the Galatians were falling back to serve things NOT of Torah again...things they served before they came to Truth...like their own calendar and stuff...

Peter warned that having heard the holy commandment there would be those that still return to their own vomit...like dogs...
