That sounds like confirmation to me.

Things are going to get more spicy when they start posting censured pictures of Hunter with underaged Ukrainian prostitutes, as well as some of the other stuff they got.

However, unlike the past when they attacked equally, there is definitely a bias in reporting today, meaning they now practice selective attacks, all depending on their agenda.

In general, seems many readily accept biased reporting, as long as it matches up with their agenda, and reject it as biased, if it does not.

So I take it the "No going after politicians kids!" thing is no longer in effect?

The laptop wasn't recently found; the FBI has had it in its possession since December of last year.

If Hunter Biden's laptop actually contained pictures of him with underage prostitutes or videos of him engaging in sex with minors as I have read in other threads, the FBI would have taken action before now.

This story isn't going to gain much traction in the media because Hunter Biden isn't running for President, Joe Biden is. Secondly, the majority of the American public has other and more important issues on their mind than Hunter Biden, including getting a virus under control.

If there is a real story there, they'll pick it up. They may be more reluctant, but they won't let it escape them.

First, there needs to be real evidence of Hunter Biden actually doing wrong.

There there has to be actual connection with Joe Biden and any proven wrongdoing of his son.

Right now there is only innuendo of Hunter doing wrong, and zero connection of Joe with that innuendo.

There's always this story indicating Hunter's attorney sent a letter to the computer shop owner, verifying the ownership of the laptop.

You wouldn't want someone that when they are shown a photo of Hunter Biden they can say "no that's not who brought it in".
If you have someone who can say "I don't know" they won't be lying to the FBI and the identity of the person is speculative, "maybe but maybe not."

They've attempted to construct a similar situation to what happened during the 2016 campaign with Comey saying the FBI had found more emails that MIGHT incremintate Clinton, they didn't but it was too late the public had already been made suspicious again.
They've followed that scenario but have released it much closer to the election so that it won't get fully vetted before the election. They may have messed up as many people have already voted and most have made up their minds. The only ones who will take this seriously enough not to vote for Biden are the ones who weren't voting for him anyway.

The irony about this whole thing is that 4 years of Donald have dulled people's sense of what a controversy is. During Obama's term, scandals were rare and people could actually believe investigators. Flash forward to today, and we've had 4 years of Donald's nonsense priming people to just ignore stories about corruption. And now Donald's attempting to conjure up some sort of controversy to give him a bump in the election and surprisingly, no one seems to care. A victim of his own administration, in a way.
