History is merely repeating itself - during the 60's American conservatives were all too willing in their attempts to discredit Martin Luther King Jr as a communist, despite the fact that as a Baptist minister it was difficult to portray him as an atheist!

Conservatives have a long history of branding their opponents as Marxists and communists when their other criticisms fail to gain traction with the public!

Given this President's attraction to all things Putin and his diplomatic "love affair" with his pen-pal Kim Jung-un, its the Democrats who could make a far more convincing case that Donald J Trump is the true Marxist sympathizer!

And no Democrats have since the Kennedys but that didn't stop them from using blacks to maintain their votes by stirring them up every election cycle. A lot of them are waking up and breaking free and nowyou have blacks calling blacks racist.

Some people clearly cannot understand humor and metaphor.

You know, Christians have made similar statements in the past, like John Milton, who portrayed the Devil in a sympathetic way at times. Does that make them Satanists, or merely good at using imagery to explain something that is very human, the desire for autonomy (which in itself is not evil, unless you want to give up American ideals, perhaps).
