I like 'praise parties!'

Isn't it great to have the opportunity to come to an online community and meet Christians both nearby and in other countries - all over the world!

I am in a privileged position in that I am still able to go to my church building every week, albeit with restrictions in place. However with the present pandemic, and the looming prospect of further and increased lockdowns, nothing can be taken for granted.

If the pandemic took place around 30 years ago and our churches were closed, the isolation would have been harder for most of us to deal with. With no internet, there would have been no online forums, no Zoom meetings. In our current situation, it is the internet that has helped us to continue practising our faith, reaching out to one another, and keeping our church communities going.

Thank God for the opportunity to come online to talk, to pray, to share and to learn. Thank God for all of you - you are amazing!
