The woman ( a false religion ) is supported by the beast empire.. The small horn that rises up is the anti-christ arrival to take leadership of the beast.. My this time the false religion will have served her purpose and the beast will then turn on the harlot religion and destroy her.. Because The anti-christ needs to fool the world into thinking He is the promised Messiah so he has got to destroy the harlot and claim he is winning the battle of Armageddon.. The anti-chirst must be seen to fulfill prophecy people believe the returning Messiah Jesus will do.. So He has to win a fake battle of Armageddon.. Destroying the Harlot with fire will serve the purpose..

Satan does not care for the people he laready has fooled.. They can be used as pawns and killed to help him decieve the people who he is yet to fool..

So the pope really cannot be the anti-christ.. The pope and the catholic church may be the first ones to be slaughtered by the anti-christ.. Or maybe islam is the harlot false religion that will be slaughtered by the anti-christ.. Since the anti-christ really wants the Jews to worship him as God on earth, It is logical that anti-christ would slaughter the muslims and present himself as the saviour of the Jewish people against the evil of islam.. Yes and again satan already has the muslims decieved and he would not hesitate to use them as pawns and slaughter them all to win over the Jews..
