Trump does few fundraisers, it's mostly open donations. His rallies are free. And he has to constantly battle the press, despite being the one who constantly gives them face time.

But most of Biden's campaign outgo is for expensive air time, whereas Trump spends less on that and relies instead on his rallies and on the long arm of his social media outreaches. Trump actually does not push donations. His Twitter account doesn't even link back to his web site. The focus is on passion, the human aspect.
