I dreamt I was a "well off" person in a different time and place until things changed. There was a war and I was forced to fight in a war. I was captured on the battlefield and taken as a prisoner. I was then later made a slave. Then I was sold to a different owner. I had certain tasks I had to do. One such task was to do something with a piece of pottery. The piece had already been made and I was supposed to alter it in some way. I recalled I had to put jewels on it or something like that. But doing all this work made me a very strong person and well built muscularly. It turned out that I did a horrible job with this pottery job as I was taken from there and "hung" with some straps holding me upright and my back was whipped. I then woke up and started crying because of my dream.

Another dream..
I dreamed I went to either a bookstore or library, don't know which. I saw a person who seemed to be intelligent and refined in their tastes kinda like you might think of Alfred from Batman, but more arrogant. Anyways, he was reading a book. I asked him if I could read the book he was reading. As I started to read, I found myself in a completely different scenario. First I got a "vision" of our planet earth submerged in water. There was this greenish colored building that was very big that looked like an upside down pyramid. I then found myself within this building. I was somewhere near the middle to the top of the building. The building was made of stone, just like the pyramids, but there was overgrowth of some kind of plant growing on the walls. I got the impression that the further down you went the more dangerous it was. There was some sort of tentacled beast that lived at the base of the building and it would try and grab people with its tentacles. The building functioned as a hierarchy where the "better off" people were near that top and the ones in real danger were at the bottom. I then started talking to someone within the building and he told me we were inside the book I was reading. Then I zoomed out of the book and saw myself in the bookstore/library again. Then the dream ended.

Another dream..
I saw a man "walking in the spirit" and he was basically untouchable. It was as if he had a spiritual glow to him and powerful things happened wherever he went. Do not know who the individual was.

The most recent dream I remember:
I was observing hell. It was everything Jesus spoke about hell. It was very empty and dark and lonely and there were these kind of spiritual flames that were not like the flames on earth. It gave me a strong feeling that this is the last place anyone would ever want to go. I was not experiencing it myself, I was simply seeing it. But I saw a figure that was walking in that place and acting like nothing there was bothering him at all.

Your first dream. I had one similar. I was in this building and there were a lot of other people in a long line sitting down. There were three men in black of Chinese descent, and they were telling us to something we didn't want to do. I stood up and said I would not do as they say.

So then I was looking inside a long rectangular window at myself. Just like this first dream, I was hung with straps upright. There was no one else around, but I looked beaten almost to the point of death and was bleeding everywhere.

Your second dream...I had a dream that I was leaving a library. I was in the library lobby before leaving and a Chinese man wearing black was entering. He looked at me and gasped a bit taken back, like he didn't want to be seen.

As for them all, persecution may come in one form or another as a Christian, but as long as you are walking in Christ Jesus, the flames cannot truly touch you.

"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Matthew 10:28 NASB

Greetings, brother. I like your avatar caption.

Haven't read the last one yet, and the first two have some negative connotations. But with this one, the question would be what the "book" is. The building that is an inverted pyramid is a reference to some form of occultism or inverted organization. It could be a book you were reading that stood to corrupt your mind spiritually. If it is a reference to someone - a person who influences you spiritually - the reference is to someone in your life who was involved in occultism, or some form of corrupt business or organization. The octopus at the bottom is the Devil, who devours whoever "climbs to the top" as it were. I have seen octopuses in other dreams, and they are distinctly demonic symbolism. They appear as a demon that seeks to utterly control others by wrapping around them and completely sucking the life out of them spiritually.

Not much time right now, but if anything should click, let me know. If it is a future dream, it hasn't happened yet.
I dreamt I was a "well off" person in a different time and place until things changed. There was a war and I was forced to fight in a war. I was captured on the battlefield and taken as a prisoner. For this one, you would have to retrace your spiritual life. But here are the things this imagery suggests:

- "Well off" represents you once being well off in the world somehow.
- "War that changed things" represents that this situation changed, and you suffered conflict and loss.
- "Taken prisoner" likely represents becoming a prisoner to your emotions after this; of being hurt or depressed over it.
- "Made a slave" likely means your actions became governed by such moods.
- "Bought by a different owner" likely refers to being bought by the blood of Christ, i.e. becoming born again.
- The "piece of pottery" is either you or someone you are given spiritual responsibility over, to form them in Christ.
- Decorating it in jewels is interesting. Represents bringing him/ her/ or you to glorification, which is not a dirty word in New Testament Christianity.
- Also suggested by the fact that this work made you "muscular," but "taken from there" seems to suggest your performance won't go well, so the responsibility is taken from you. Also suggested by being "hung." Being "whipped" then is a reference to the emotional sufferings you will endure from failing in the job.

That's a rough draft. Tell me if anything resonates.

I can look at the other one later.

God bless,

Keep in mind, this last part could still be future if you are trying to help someone spiritually now, even though the early part of the dream is/ would be past tense, and already fulfilled.

Anybody you are trying to mentor and help grow spiritually right now?

God bless

I try and be a witness to everyone I come across but there are certain people at my apartment complex who I used to share my faith with more that I have not done as much recently. I had my dream before moving here. I feel like I have a problem with the fruit I am reaping, which is hardly anything at all. I bought someone at my apartment complex a Bible, and at first I was encouraging them to read it, but then after they started saying they didn't read it, and it seemed that they thought of it as a chore, I stopped telling them to read the Bible. I don't know if this person is saved or not. There is another person who I told that I personally don't like just "feel good" messages and instead prefer the Bible she then was getting from her meditation books and then like a few days later asked me if I go to church and I said I did and I brought her to church one Sunday, but I have not followed up with her. I also tend to think that my "ministry" or what I was actually "called" to do hasn't reached its potential yet as I feel I am still in an information gathering stage.

Thanks.

You're welcome. I have a sense the dream is likely from God, but if so it would appear to be future then.

But time will tell. Keep this dream and the interpretation for future reference. I actually sensed it might be a wife or girlfriend or something (jewels would represent "beautifying" her by honoring her), but time will tell if it was truly from the Lord. If so, it's a warning to take good care of her.

God bless,
- H

I feel I am still in an information gathering stage.

This would also confirm that interpretation. If you are a newer Christian, then it is definitely future.

Also, if you are a newer Christian, the first dream is a warning to watch out for bad spiritual influence, likely through someone's work. If you are interested in studying things like the occult or philosophy or mysticism, if only for research purposes, just be careful.

It has nothing to do with a romantic relationship. If fact, the people I am ministering to are quite incompatible with me insofar as a romantic relationship is concerned.

Hey Counter, I tend to have dreams come to mind sometimes when I hear similar ones. I usually pester Hidden here, because he is really good. It doesnt mean mine mean the same though, but sometimes they might. So I might sometimes get something right, the Bible verse is true at the very least. Lol. But Id listen to him first. He knows what he is talking about in this stuff.

Blessings in Christ Jesus! To be like the man in the 3rd dream whom you observed, one must be willing to lay down ones life. That includes, rejecting all the lust of this world including riches and statis. As David said, "I shall not want" When one walks by faith alone, they believe all the promises that The Lord has promised. And He is faithful to deliver. When one's eyes are not always afixed on The Lord, but looks upon other things(temptations) of the world, their walk (journey) will be hindered, for it has been said that we can not serve 2 masters. But, on the other hand, if one was to put their trust and faith in Jesus alone, then in it's season, The Two shall walk as One(John 17) like the man you observed even to the point of being in the flames and not getting burnt. Pay not attention to the ones who say that they are something, for it is the nothings that are fit for use.
