It won't be long before we see that same definition for the Bible. I expect it to be defined publicly as hate speech within my lifetime. Sad.

if someone is using the bible to promote hate then that is hate speech. it has nothing to do with the bible itself

All this brings up the need for a Daily WokeSpeak Review, which will tell us all what's woke for today and what was yesterwolk and thus unwoke for today. THIS IS A VITALLY IMPORTANT THING. Especially for those who care so deeply about being woke, as if it really mattered.

Other countries are already getting on board with these types of discussions. We are already seeing right here in the US where while not yet calling out the bible they are making those values we hold as being hate speech. Right now it's just an indirect attack but as things move along some politicians will undoubtedly come out and say directly that the Bible is hate speech. China is doing it, other countries are attacking Christians and although we will probably be the last hold out public sentiment will eventually change.

Information overload equals pattern recognition. Various actions among corporations, foundations, trusted sources (MW dictionary) etc. can only make sense if there is behind the scenes collusion and coordination.

Yelp! working with BLM to report "racist" incidents at restaurants is a recent example, as is your MW definition tweak. Examples are rife, culled from information overload. They are all working together behind the scenes, subverting organizations and hiding behind the shells of their former reputation. Funneled uber wealth is funding much business behavior that would otherwise be completely illogical.

I didn’t consider it hate speech, it just tells me that that person is making a point that they think that being homosexual is a choice, which defies science and is used as a basis for discrimination. So it is offensive. There is plenty of this on the other side. Right on this forum there is a thread where people are talking about being offended by the song “Imagine.” “The left” doesn’t get offended anymore than “the right.”

My speech has never been so controlled and criticized as it was growing up in an evangelical household and attending conservative Christian schools.

Even if that happens, so what? Christianity would still have the same protections under the first amendment.

They aren't here in the US yet. I said it won't be long. If you stand out in the middle of one of these riots and preach the word of God you would find out what's coming.

It makes sense not to call homosexuality "sexual preference" if you think its innate to a person rather than a mere choice. And Sen Hirono and Judge Coney both said they thought it was innate.

Ah, the perpetual soon. It was soon when I first started paying attention to politics during the Clinton administration yet it somehow has not arrived yet.

If you stand out in the middle of one of these riots and preach the word of God you would find out what's coming.

Well, I didn't grow up evangelical nor attend such schools. But I did read 1984 in 1970 and it's all coming true in 2020.
