I took a break from the internet in general for a few days, things just got really overwhelming and I took time away to spend with my daughters. But I guess I'll give a bit of an update! I was approved for medical coverage, which is good. It doesn't cover the full cost of my oldest daughters medicine, but it's a big step in the right direction! SNAP was approved and will hopefully be deposited on the 18-19th of this month, as well! Job hunting hasn't turned anything up, but I'm still applying everywhere I possibly can. My only issue at the moment is needing a few necessities (household and feminine products x.x) and food to last us until the SNAP benefits deposit. It might be a long week with nothing, but still, I'll be able to provide plenty food for my babies once this week is over. We just have to make it that far!

Congrats on the new benefits! I know that will be a big weight off your shoulders. Do you qualify for cash assistance as well? I would think so, since you're currently unemployed? Hang in there!

Why not check with the local Salvation Army, and explain your case to them. They are usually good at stepping in during a crisis to help out. Best Wishes for your promising future!

Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, there are lots of good resources out there. I know that some resources are a bit thin right now because of Covid, but most are getting back on their feet.
