No, I'm not nuts. However, out of boredom sometimes I make up conversations by making up phantom quotes. I might even get snarky too. But mostly I use this thread to post my excess on.

I emoji chat with self. My every emoji gets an Amen. It’s just amazing. It’s nuts. I don’t suffer with boredom though.

Isn't it past your nighty night time, gospels?

(That's the snarky, btw.)

Edit: Guess you went to sleep. That was 19 minutes ago. I was catching something on the tele and didn't see your post.

Edit 2: A little passed 9AM there. Nevermind. My bad.

When is the church going to stop asking God for things like begging Him to pour out His Spirit when He’s already done it? It was called Pentecost. Holy Spirit isn’t a static Being floating around in the atmosphere. He’s a living fire abiding in PEOPLE. To say such things is spiritual ignorance or stagnancy. And don’t ask God for the baptism unless you plan on actually serving a purpose. Every time believers in the Bible were filled they put their faith into action. Just sayin’.

Sometimes my alterego going thru fast food drive-thrus is a redneck named Earl. It's a hillbilly accent I put on that makes myself laugh. It's never failed to make the window workers giggle too. One day one girl mistook me saying "naw" for mild (as in taco bell mild sauce) Lol

I played it thru til driving off though. I love it. I'll record me going thru one day and upload.

The gift of discernment is desperately needed in the church today. And God is more than willing to give good gifts to His children that ask Him. But people will not walk in the fullness of this gift if they are not willing to open their mouths against the enemy and the people he works in and thru. Paul pointed out rebellion consistently in the NT, and if needed, used names. The problem is many in the church are afraid to call things as they are. There's a difference between gossip and calling a spade a spade. If the shoe fits, we gotta wear it. Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Blaaah.

This tale comes from some out-land church in the middle of a place where Christians are hated and frequent terror attacks occur. A congregation has just started service one weekend when a band of masked gunmen enter the building. They quickly demand every person who wants to save their life to immediately leave the church and go somewhere else if they want to live. A huge file of people get up and rush out of the building at once. The men ask the people two more times if there’s anyone else that wants to leave. Soon, other crowds (albeit smaller) get up and disperse as well. Finally, when there were just a few remnant of people left sitting quietly in their chairs with peace on their faces, the gunmen threw their rifles down and exclaimed, “Now we can worship in spirit and in Truth. Hallelujah.”

(Matthew 16:25 - "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.)

It bothers me when companies, organizations, and even churches tend to always hire or find replacements for leadership outside their own people. This is even worse when it comes to churches. I mean, isn't the point of discipleship to train up others within your own midst to take over someday? But no...We'd rather fish in other ponds than be responsible to actually train up others to take over the work. This is pride, selfishness, and plain laziness.

I think it would be a lot easier to discuss the issue of immigration if not only we talked about keeping illegals out (a border wall) but brought up the topic of making a doable pathway to citizenship as well. Here are my suggestions for nationalizing immigrants.

-Learn to speak English fluently
-Earn citizenship by serving in a branch of the U.S. armed forces. (4 or 8 years)
-Earn citizenship by being an organ donor.

Anyone else got any ideas?

The U.S. is already the leading nation out of all the countries in the world that nationalize the most migrants at over 1 million a year. Perhaps starting some kind of referral system wherein those 1 million people could start the process of expediting others they know who are of good repute and character to come in as well.

How can even the most original and innovative creations still fall under the verse in Ecclesiastes that talks about how there's nothing new under the sun? I believe it's because everything that's currently on earth was first in Heaven. And is in heaven. That's a grandiose opinion of what Heaven is like but I'm convinced its true

I think I've finally found a cell number that hasn't been loaded down with spam. Had it changed the other day and so far there hasn't been any robocalls or weird texts sent to me. /crosses fingers
