The real problem with the giants of Noah's day...was that being half angel/half man?

Jesus being only as human flesh could not have died for their sins.
Therefore... They could not be given souls by God for that reason.
They could never be saved by the Cross.

For that reason they were not given souls , but spirits like angels have. Being given "spirits' made them continuously spiritually alive. They heard truth that they could have returned to God for. Just like Lucifer and his angels being always spiritual had a chance to return to God, but refused.

Those "spirits" from the flood were removed from the earth by God.



God also had to deal with the disobedient angels impregnating human women during that days of Noah. They too are locked up below the earth!

I would offer. . . Satan a lying messenger or angel, or angelous in the Greek as a demon. It is all one thing. That kind of spirit influences thoughts and therefore the actions of mankind. The spirit of the anti-christ. A false teacher or false Christ . Christ the Spirit of truth is the true teacher..

When can see Satan the devil actively working in the heart and mind of Peter in Mathew 16 .In false pride moving Peter to rebuke Jesus as the things of men shown as that which offend things the Spirt of Christ. .

In that way as the lying spirit it is called the "man of sin" seeing he uses men to promote his false gospel. Jesus said to Peter in the process of rebuking the lying unseen spirit Satan (the spirit of error). Get behind me and not Peter a man of sin .

That got bollixed up. For several reasons.

1. Men were never called "sons of God" until the Church age when believers for the first time were given the indwelling Holy Spirit.

2. And, why should the combination of a believer and an unbeliever, suddenly produce a superior race? One that is superior even to the believer?

Yes, "renown" may be just as you describe.

However "giants" is a plain and simple word that describes the very large and technologically advanced people that built these megalithic structures:

Very interesting..... But what has that got to do EXACTLY with the days of Noah?

Something very specific happened in Noah's day.

Unless you can make it pertain to Noah's day and show how it applies to what we need to know?

An interesting bit of knowledge. I do not think it pertains. (unless someone is in a spin room and wants to obfuscate and confuse things with unnecessary information.)


The word "renown" is a commonly used word, even today. Make it pertain. Show how it helps clarify what we need to know as to stop being confused.

Satan is never called a demon. Demons are his servant angels beneath him.

Note! Always appearing in "masculine gender" in the Greek. = Sons of God in Noah's day.

There are no female angels. For, God cut them off from receiving such a blessing after Satan's rebellion and refusal to repent.

The Canaanites were giants were wrongly referred to as nephilim in the evil report. Because? The word referred to giant size.



But... even back then they had destructive "fake news." It destroyed the chances of the Jews in succeeding as Caleb knew it should have been done. Caleb was strong in faith.

Are these not pre-flood events? What biblical indication is there of these mixed "sons of God" post-flood?

Until the Church age changed things... the only ones called "sons of God" in the OT were angels.



Once we are resurrected we shall be Sons of God like the angels now are!

If we were mixed with angels? Those who were mixed that way they could not go to the Cross for salvation.

For God had to make himself become as a man.. not an angel.. to die for our sins.

Angels the Greek word, in English messenger. They are those sent with the word of God..the gospel. Called apostles(sent one with no other meaning added. )

Why the translators used the Greek and not the English "messenger" constantly is a mystery to me.

Sons of God are children of God also called children of light the believers. Job is speaking of the prayers of the believers or called the golden bowl those who pray without ceasing . The father of lies as the accuser of the brethren day and night was changeling the power of God that worked in the believer to both will and perform the good pleasure of our God.. In effect saying have you considered Job as a son of God?

Hebrews speaks of evangelizing .Be careful Christians as sons of God could be used to share the good news. It could be sent to us as gifts that mutually work in both. .

The Youngs literal seem to translate it into English.

The grass hopper perspective (fear of men) does not change the way the word renown is used 11 times.

Mighty men of old moved by the faith that worked in them to both will and do the good pleasure of God . David God's renown who was shorter than the enemies renown Goliath. Goliath seemed like a grasshopper to David .

I would suggest study how the word renown is used as it relates to sons of God (believers) throughout the Bible. Lying spirits have no DNA.

Part Jewish lady here. Type O blood, size 9 feet, (high arches, long toes, wide)just under 5 ft 8 inches tall. A bit taller than average in the UK but not massively tall. Obese UK size 24/26, and large frame quite stocky and muscled (body type mixture of Endomorph and mesomorph) pear shaped body, large bum thighs etc
