He is just a man with a sordid past like all of us. He is pro Israel and pro life anti terrorism. Don’t believe what you hear about him on the liberal press- fake news and the hate him. He will keep us free and a sovereign nation for 4 more years. Then the end of America. Israel is approaching peace and safety and then ‘you know’... He is pro Christian too and if you pray he will make it out of this alive. A vote for president Trump is a vote for freedom. Not independent or Dem. but president Trump.

Really, many? That is the question we are trying to determine. Is many 3, or 3 million. Is it a totally insignificant fringe group of people who have no impact on the election, or is it truly a significant portion of the electorate. No one has put forth any evidence to support the assertion that it is "many".

First note that it is many within the trump supporters contingent ...not the general public at large. Further, from here at CF and other social media sites... I would say many within his support group qualifies. Further still many is indefinite...so I think "many" is appropriate!

But an interesting poll would be, "Do you support President Trump no matter what he says or does?"

Not really because it's a loaded statement because it means you can fill in the blanks later about what that wrong thing that might be and start demeaning people when the truth is they may not have dreamed you meant something as horrible as you'd fill in.

You want a good poll question? Here's one. You say that you disapprove of the job Politician A is doing. Does that mean however that you won't vote for him or her? YES or NO. I think you might find the answer to that might be NO that's not what that means. Let's assume that many people don't approve of Trump....still doesn't mean they won't vote for him though and will do so for many reasons.

Hi jermayn,

Just wanted to respond quickly to a post that you made:

Unless you know him personally, you literally have to rely on pundits, MSM, and 3rd parties to know any bit of that information.

Yes, but hopefully you realize that that's a two-edged sword. The same thing applies to what one believes about any candidate.

All I'm saying is that I don't vote based on who I think has never sinned, otherwise I could only write-in Jesus himself every election.

I honestly don't think that anyone votes on who they believe has 'never' sinned. That isn't even an issue with most voters for the very reason that you claim. There are no candidates, or even people who can be candidates, that have never sinned. So, I believe that you're changing the terms of the discussion here because, as I say, no one votes for who they believe has never sinned.

All I can say is that if he isn't a Christian and he came to this forum and saw some of the things Christians said about him, it would drive him farther away from Christ rather than toward him.

Or, he could be like most of us when we came to love the Lord. Understand from what he reads here what depth of sin he holds in his soul...and repent and be saved. I know that when I trusted Jesus, it was because I realized my sin and my need for a Savior. That because I was a sinner, I couldn't save myself. I think it is because of the realization of our sin that we seek salvation. After all, if I'm a good fellow, what need have I of Jesus? I'm going to receive God's mercy anyway.

Listening to Mr. Trump's words concerning the partaking of communion, I really don't think he has any grasp whatsoever that he's a sinner. Here are just a couple of blurbs that would indicate to me that all his talk about wooing the evangelical base because he tries to show that he's one of them:

At the nondenominational First Christian Church, in Council Bluffs, Mr Trump reportedly mistook the silver Communion plates that were passed around as the offering plates and dug out some dollar bills from his pocket. “I thought it was for offering,” he told his staff members, according to the Associated Press. He later placed some notes in the offering plate, or offertory.

"People are so shocked when they find … out I am Protestant. I am Presbyterian. And I go to church and I love God and I love my church,” he said.

Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions.

“I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

Trump said that while he hasn’t asked God for forgiveness, he does participate in Holy Communion.

“When I drink my little wine — which is about the only wine I drink — and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed,” he said. “I think in terms of ‘let’s go on and let’s make it right.'”

Now seriously, how many born again believers do you know that don't know if they've ever asked God for forgiveness? He, in fact, goes on to say that he didn't think so. He says, “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

He doesn't bring God into it. Really? Sounds like a lot of born again believers that you know? And for him it isn't 'sin', it's that he did something wrong. Like he put tab A into tab C instead of tab B. Just made a mistake. Did something wrong. He tries better next time to make sure that he puts tab A into tab B.

God bless,
Ted

It is either go to the polls and vote for Trump or stay home and let the Democrats, the party of racism, abortionist and sodomites, elect their candidate.

question, what if Joe wins, does this mean that the Lord put him in the WH?

If you do not trust in man it has nothing to do with it.

If you do trust in man then that is the far bigger concern.

I am just interested to see what Christians think about Trump? I see so many posts in Trump forums Trump walking along with Jesus in a way i see it as a cult :D although i do support him because he is against liberals. But do honestly most you believe he will save America and he is choosen one? He is really wealthy and was an actor in many films, commercials is he really for the good of all? I remember there was this video where Trump said if he ever goes to become a president he will go through the republican party because they are so dumb.. So where is the truth is he really choosen one? or he is just with Illuminati and pretend to be with the people. My self i am still trying to figure out.

I don't believe he had any business even running for the Presidency. The way I see it, the two primary functions of the American President are to serve as head of government and commander-in-chief of the armed forces, and I would expect any prospective candidates to have some experience in either government or the military. Trump has neither one, and thus he's completely unqualified and in way over his head. It's the lens through which I've viewed his entire presidency and every failure of his office.

I definitely agree with one thing, either there are some lunatics who support Trump no matter what, or there are some very evil people on the left who will say anything without any basis to slander those they disagree with.

Hi bobber,

Well, for me it doesn't. I just think the man is a bad leader. His wild stab at tariffs has destroyed a lot of trust that we used to have among allied leaders. It hasn't accomplished any of the things that he claimed that it would. It hasn't been easy, despite his proclamations that tariffs were easy. Our trade imbalance with China is no better than it was in the beginning and our prices are going through the roof with his administration having to support most of our farmers who have lost a lot of trade with China. Lumber is skyrocketing because he also threw tariffs on Canadian wood products.

His administration is a veritable merry-go-round of people that he initially claims are the best and brightest, but soon seem to lose their luster and he then tells us that he didn't even know them. What???? I don't care how you look at it, if any corporation were run as he is running the government, they would have filed for bankruptcy long ago. Of course, he's done that, too. I honestly don't understand people who seem to believe that he has some great business leadership. He doesn't have any. Most of his 'companies' are just paper shell companies with maybe a handful of employees to make things look busy. Most of them are CEO's by his children. They aren't for profit businesses! They're shell companies that he uses to transfer and hide assets so that he doesn't have to pay any taxes.

His few businesses that he did have that were actually going concerns are generally shut down. His casinos, his steaks, his university. All Donald Trump has is his name and yes, he has built that into some powerful brand, but that's it. He has 500 companies on paper that do nothing but push his name. He is not some great businessman! He's a failure at most everything he's tried his hand at, except for his name and owning properties from which he collects rent. However, I've been a landlord. That isn't some tough gig. So long as your name is on the deed of the property, then people are going to pay you money to use your space. You don't have to be particularly wise, and if the accounts of his finances are any indication, he really doesn't seem to have been particularly good at that. Although he is keeping his head above water.

If he gets into financial straights, he just files for bankruptcy and walks away. Read this: Donald Trump’s Business Failures Were Very Real

Add to that the fact that he doesn't get along with most people and actually seems to try his best to rub people the wrong way on purpose. He is constantly 'less than sincere' (another word for lying). He is waaaaay over proud of himself and his yuge ego. He just isn't a leader kind of person.

Leaders understand that they are who they are because of the work of others. Not Donald Trump. Everyone else is an idiot but because of his great knowledge about everything, he was able to save the day, even though he really doesn't. Leaders generally show a certain amount of humility when addressing others. Understanding that we're all trying to achieve goals and if we can work together we can achieve those goals. Not Donald Trump!

So look, you're free to think he's the greatest president since sliced bread. Me, I think he's waaay out of his depth and is more likely to destroy the fabric of America rather than making it great again. America has always been great!!! We didn't need Donald Trump to make us great. Personally, I think we were greater before him than we are now with him. I'll vote my preference in November and you vote yours.

God bless,
Ted

He's a rapscallion who too many Christians think is the new Cyrus sent from God to save America. Wrap the cross in a flag and this is the result.

False Prophets

Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

1 John 4:1
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Matthew 24:24
For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

2 Peter 2:1
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

1 John 4:1-6
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. ...

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Matthew 24:11
And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.

2 Timothy 4:3
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

Deuteronomy 18:20-22
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

Jeremiah 23:16
Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord!

Revelation 19:20
And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Romans 16:18
For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

Deuteronomy 18:20
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’

Luke 6:26
“Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.

Mark 13:22
For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect.

Revelation 20:10
And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Jeremiah 14:14
And the Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.

2 Peter 2:3
And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Mark 7:6-9
And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandment of men.’ You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.” And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition!

Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Romans 16:17-18
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

2 Peter 2:1-3
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Jeremiah 23:1-40
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” declares the Lord. Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for my people: “You have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds, declares the Lord. Then I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply. I will set shepherds over them who will care for them, and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing, declares the Lord. “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. ...

Ezekiel 22:28
And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

Jeremiah 5:30-31
An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?

False Prophets (continued)

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

Matthew 7:15-20
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ...

Jude 1:4
For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 24:4-5
And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

Ezekiel 13:9
My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord God.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Isaiah 8:20
To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn.

2 Peter 2:1-22
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; ...

Deuteronomy 13:1-5
“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

Revelation 13:1-18
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. ...

Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

Matthew 7:15-16
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

Jeremiah 5:31
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?

2 Peter 2:2
And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.

Acts 13:6
When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain magician, a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus.

Deuteronomy 13:1-3
“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Ezekiel 13:6
They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.

Galatians 1:6-9
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

Lamentations 2:14
Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading.

Deuteronomy 13:1-18
So you shall purge the evil from your midst. ...

Revelation 13:14
And by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

Revelation 2:20
But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

Deuteronomy 13:3
You shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

2 Corinthians 11:13
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Revelation 13:12
It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed.

Revelation 2:2
“‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false.

Jeremiah 23:21
“I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.

Jeremiah 23:14
But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”

Revelation 16:13
And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs.

2 Peter 1:1-21
Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, ...

1 Thessalonians 5:21
But test everything; hold fast what is good.

Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

Micah 3:11
Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say, “Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”

Micah 3:5
Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who lead my people astray, who cry “Peace” when they have something to eat, but declare war against him who puts nothing into their mouths.

1 Timothy 6:5
And constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22
And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

Matthew 24:12
And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

Isaiah 56:10-11
His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.

Matthew 7:1-29
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. ...

Acts 20:29
I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;

2 Timothy 3:1
While evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

What Does the Bible Say About False Prophets?
*****************************************************************************************************"
What Christians think about Trump?

The "false prophet" is a occurring theme throughout both the Old and New Testament and appears particularly relevant for this point and time in history!

How is this related to this thread?
Given that Christian conservatives form a significant part of this President's political base, the "false prophet" is a major reoccurring theme throughout the Bible and deserves to be revisited when examining the unique relationship that currently exists!

Those Christians who don't subscribe to this President's agenda are not only alarmed at Trump's words and behavior, but the very fact that so many of their conservative counterparts are willingly to either ignore or rationalize that which they never would have tolerated from any previous resident of the White House!

False Prophets (continued)

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,
So I am confused, what does this have to do with this particular thread?

Matthew 7:15-20
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
They appear like sheep. Does that mean they appear as part of the Lord's flock?

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
This thread is about Trump and one thing no one would say about him, regardless of what you think, is that he has crept in unnoticed.

Jeremiah 5:31
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?
Are you saying that we have had fake news for quite awhile and now the end has come and what are we going to do now?

Lamentations 2:14
Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading.
They should have exposed our iniquity so we could repent but instead told us false and misleading things like the cigarette companies did with the seven dwarfs testifying before congress?

Revelation 2:20
But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
What does the apostate church have to do with Trump?

Jeremiah 23:14
But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
Yes, we have seen these doctrines infect the church recently. But what is the connection to this thread?

Micah 3:11
Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say, “Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”
Oh, your talking about draining the swamp.

So help us out, connect the dots for us.

So a Christian who rationalizes away evil behavior is what you are referring to. The US had a covenant with God, they left the covenant and then rationalize it away. They may say the Bible is out of date, those rules don't apply anymore, the US is not a theocracy, etc.

False Prophets
2 Peter 2:1
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
It is a serious thing to deny a word spoken by the Lord Jesus. So for example if He said to watch for His coming and you say you don't need to watch because you don't know the day or the hour. Well that would be a very serious denial of the Lord's direct command to His servants.
They can appear as angels of light, they can appear as servants of the Lord, but they are deceitful, not telling you their true agenda.
Jeremiah 23:16
Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord!
Oh yeah, the virus will be over in July. Vain hope.
Luke 6:26
“Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.
Got it, just because many people slander and speak evil of someone doesn't disqualify them from being a true servant of the Lord.
2 Peter 2:3
And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
That sounds like every cult leader out there and especially the Mortgage crisis in 2008
Definitely sounds like Christianity. How many traditions have they established which directly contradict the Lord's commands?
