God, the All Present Spirit

God is the omnipresent Spirit, equally alive in all parts of the cosmos simultaneously. Such presence is not comprehensible to we mortal creatures though for we do not yet know all parts of the cosmos, much less how to be present in even two such places at once, much less all of them. If we meditate on the all presence of God though, we shall gain a greater appreciation of his immeasurable Spirit. And likewise shall we more correctly discern our own humble position amidst the most gracious, all holy person of God.

God is Spirit as Scripture states, and for the Spirit to be present everywhere in the universe simultaneously, the universe must be literally contained inside the Spirit. The universe has to exist interiorally to God, like a seed in an orange, a sponge in the sea or even a fetus inside of a womb. The universe cannot be infinite then as some might claim but only of a size too vast for our finite minds to fathom. It has a measurement too large for our comprehension and is yet expanding even further beyond all human discernment but that doesn't equal infinity. It only means our small minds are limited.

There is nothing of infinite measure but for that eternal Spirit we call God. It pays to remember that before the creation nothing existed but God, alone in his timeless, all holy Self. There was no space, time or matter because existence itself was exclusive to God. Since nothing existed but this Spirit of God, where else then could the universe be created than within the Spirit? There was no place or location for creation to occur but inside the Spirit because that Spirit was the entirety of all that existed. This is how all creation, our species included, was internally formed and remains fully enveloped in this Spirit we call God. But beyond the notion of existing internally to God, it is also true that this Spirit exists internally to us.

We cannot discern the nature of Spirit but we bear a strong sense of its immaterial nature, knowing that God's Spirit shall not be blocked by any of the material elements it created. God exists pervasively, inside all elements regardless their density as his immaterial Spirit penetrates all things large and small. In an infinitely large way God surrounds all matter because the universe itself and all matter therein live contained in his Spirit. And in an infinitely small way, God subatomically penetrates all matter, all the way down through protons, electrons and neutrons. Exteriorally, God surrounds the universe and interiorally, God saturates it along with all material therein, flesh included. This is the eternal Spirit of God; all present in both the subatomics and vast expanses of the great cosmos, alive within, throughout and beyond the universe as the great maker, redeeming sustainer and life energy of all things, now and forever, Amen.

The problem is sin separates us from God's Spirit, for there are no lies in God. So even though we have our very being in Him, and are His rightful offspring, the lies we believe about God, ourselves and our neighbour as well as Creation, separates us from God's life giving Spirit, and hands us over to the spirit of death and destruction instead.

Light versa darkness, life versa death.

we are separated only by perception and even this not outside of His purpose He has purposed in Himself

@Artorius Lacomus

I was wondering where Christ fits into Omnipresence. Is He God ?
1 Corinthians 8:6. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him;
and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

I agree...
A paragraph from something else I wrote earlier
This doesn't mean that one who denies God's existence or rejects the salvific work of Christ is saved by good works though. God's indwelling presence can affect a man's actions in positive ways but the rejection of God still bears eternal repercussions. In eternity, where atheist and Christian alike exist purely as spirit, both are confronted with the eternal reality of God's Spirit and denial of God is no longer possible. All of our individual spirits, whether we rejected or accepted God are suddenly one with his Spirit and wholly conscious of that oneness forevermore. To those who accepted God, this is a blessing to be eternally savored. To those who rejected God however, but can no longer escape his reality those shall forever suffer their denial eternally, forever lost in the rejection of He which can nevermore be denied.

Jesus is the Lord God. He is Spirit.
Is God omnipresent and does that apply here in such order?
He came in flesh, the anointed One, who is Spirit.
And he placed a portion of that Spirit into our species at the beginning.
A piece of God alive inside all men.
Our redemption already preinstalled in a way, waiting to be unpacked.

That's interesting...are you saying separation from God is by God's own will?
I tend to think God is fully present in and around all us but that our inward ability to "see" God and perceive his presence is limited but always growing at a pace which God sees fit. I think the coming of Christ was in an age when he deemed our species ready for a huge leap forward in discerning God.

Separation from God was triggered by the fall of man. If you think separation from God is by God's own will, doesn't if follow that the fall of man was somehow ordained by God?

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
