1 Peter 4:
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with God’s household, and if
it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel
of God?
18 And if a righteous person is saved with difficulty,what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?
19 So those who suffer according to God’s Will should, while doing what
is good, entrust themselves to a faithful Creator.

Acts 14:
21 After they had evangelized that town and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch,
22 strengthening the disciples by encouraging them to continue in the faith and by telling them, “It is necessary to pass through many troubles on our way into the kingdom of God.”

1 Corinthians 15
"2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

1 Corinthians 3
"15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

We are righteous only by faith and not the law. Nevertheless tribulations, works... are the real riches we will enjoy in our rest in Jesus. So rejoice when tribulation comes, our God loves you.

There's a link here....... Matthew 5-7, book of Proverbs, book of James,
John 15:
18
If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me before it hated you.
19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you
are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you.

20 Remember the word I spoke to you: ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they
persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they keep My word, they will also keep yours.

21 But they will do all these things to you on account of My name, because they don’t know
the One who sent Me.

Do you think the Apostle Paul would tell us in the Body of Christ, vs 17-18, that even after we believe in 1 Cor 15:1-4, we should expect Judgement to come to us in the future from God, and we will be scarcely be saved?

Do you think the Apostle Paul would tell us in the Body of Christ, vs 17-18, that even after we believe in 1 Cor 15:1-4, we should expect Judgement to come to us in the future from God, and we will be scarcely be saved?
1 Corinthians 15:
1
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—
unless you believed in vain.

Romans 14:

10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother?
For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

1 Corinthians 11:
31
For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be
condemned with the world.

Romans 2:
1
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you
judge another you condemn yourself;
for you who judge practice the same things.
2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.
3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these,
although not having the law, are a law to themselves,
15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness,
and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)
16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ,
according to my gospel.

1 John 4:17. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness on
the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

Firstly, in Romans 2, Paul was addressing unbelievers. And Romans 2:16 has nothing to do with Christians being judged. Its about the doctrine that we believe in.

Finally Romans 14, its about the bema seat of Christ, its about getting rewards for things done on earth.

Interestingly you quoted 1 Cor 15:1-4, how do you think a believer believes in vain there?

No, it is about receiving a recompense.
Hebrews 10:
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God,
ye might receive the promise.

Disciples, not unbelievers.
Matthew 7:
1 Judge not, that you be not judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use,
it will be measured back to you.

Hebrews 2:
1
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2
For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression
and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Three things to know about your reward:
2 John 1:8. Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that
we may receive a full reward.
1. There is a reward for the righteous.
Psalm 58:11. So that men will say,
“Surely there is a reward for the righteous;
Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”
2. There is a "full reward" that one can fall short of due to neglect. Hebrews 2:3.
3. We can lose reward. 2 John 1 above.
Interestingly you quoted 1 Cor 15:1-4, how do you think a believer believes in vain there?
Why don't you go ahead and answer that, since verse 2 seems to speak for itself. What is missing?

Firstly, in Romans 2, Paul was addressing unbelievers.
This is simply false.
Romans 1:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations,
for his name:
6 Among whom are you also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout
the whole world.
11
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith
both of you and me.

You speak of Judgment here with a capital J as if it were condemnation.
John 3:18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Romans 8:1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

As to being scarcely saved, Paul speaks of that here:
1 Corinthians 3:15. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself
shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

1 Corinthians 3:
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his
own reward according to his own labour.

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder,
I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it
shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved;
yet so as by fire.

In this life, or life to come? What do you think we are talking about here?

My main point was that you are not rightly dividing the word of Truth.

1 Peter 4 is written to the nation Israel, who was expecting the Tribulation to come at anytime, and the 2nd coming of Jesus for the nation to come after that.

It was based on what Peter told Israel in Acts 2, about everything that was happening being prophesied in the OT by the prophet Joel.

And you have been? I have corrected you on several points, but you are ignoring them to come
back to 1 Peter 4.
1 Peter 4 is written to the nation Israel, who was expecting the Tribulation to come at anytime, and the 2nd coming of Jesus for the nation to come after that.

1 Peter 1:1. an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Yes, Peter was addressing Jewish believers who had been scattered after the persecution, now living as strangers in Asia Minor. Throughout the letter he encourages all to remain steadfast in the face of persecution for belonging to Christ, and for suffering by the Will of God.
I find nothing in his first letter to support the assertion that Peter was addressing concerns over
THE Tribulation and 2nd. coming. What verses are you referring?
The concern over the 2nd coming is addressed in the second letter. While many search scriptures for clues to when the second coming may take place, 2 Peter 3 is essential instructions for the right mindset for those who wait.

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

Peter believed it was the last days after Pentecost. Daniel 70th week was supposed to be coming soon after the cross.

Not the topic of Peter's letter, or this thread. You are taking something Peter preached on the day
of Pentecost and projecting it onto a letter he wrote years, even decades later, and pulling this thread
way off topic in the process. Are you ready to comment on this?

The kingdom of God that Peter was preaching was based on the gospel of the kingdom that Jesus sent him to preach in Matthew 10:5-8

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
