Grace gives us all: one free work.

We are able to add to it, as much as the Spirit allows.

The Devil is not able to object, if we plead the Blood of the Lamb and our testimony.

EDIT: The point is, that Christ will return with His Reward, and will reward both the free work we received and what we did on top of that - with something so great, both the faith and the works will pale in comparison.

Hello again and God bless.
There are a few things that the early Quakers say Were they look at some scriptures as apocalyptic and in thier present age which Question and it seems they promoted revelation in speaking and prophecy but they didn’t seem to stress a teaching gift in gatherings as much. . And I have a few issues with some ideas and doctrines. I like a Robert Barclays apology in many areas but some things he says I don’t see when I listen in the Spirit and compare scripture with.
It is a long complicated discussion and too much to get into detail right now about.

I can know the truth as I abide in faith and have the witness of God in my spirit with the holy scriptures and the body of believers. I know all groups might claim as much but these three are the way to know. The inner work of Hod and Hod witness, the holy scriptures which answer to that witness and the body of Christ in the multitude of counsel for such safety.

the Issue with other groups is that many of them do not allow all three of these proofs. For example manny churches did not believe in body ministry to one another Amgen they gather as scripture commands and Some don’t believe in the inner voice of God leading etc.
I find that many groups go off on one of these points or more. But if we are to be perfect we need all three. God working in us to make us perfect into every good work Hebrews 13:20,21, the body of Christ and ministry for the perfecting of the saints Ephesians 4:10-16 and the Holy scriptures in faith in Christ which are able to make us perfect unto every good work .

God bless.
And let every man be fully persuaded in his own conscience before God. If in anything we be lacking God shall reveal even this to us.
Hi. I wonder if you were able to read my last message? Or maybe you did, and simply disagreed with my request? If so, that is fine. I trust you did not find it inappropriate, though. It was, after all, just a request for fellowship in the hopes of keeping on learning and growing in perfection in Christ. But the lack of reply, any reply, just puzzles me.

Grace and wisdom to you.

“15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.”(Galatians 6:15,16 KJV)

The word “rule” means - “sphere, standard, rod, boundary.

To live in Christ as a new creation is to live in spiritual life with Jesus Christ in you and the spirit of God leading you and teaching you all things. This is the primary rule, as Paul said. We are to walk according to this rule. And except a man be born again he cannot see spiritually anything of the kingdom

. But there is nowhere in Sacred Scripture itself that states anything like "This is my body" is to be taken literally or symbolically. Whether the words are to be taken literally or symbolically is a tradition and different churches have different traditions in that regard.
Although we do read in that section,

“ John 6:63. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

which would strongly show that Jesus is not talking about literally tearing him apart and eating his flesh and drinking his blood.

just an observation

The doctrine of the Real Presence (nor Sacred Scripture) does not state anything about "tearing him apart" so I do not think that is relevant. The text states that our Lord will give his flesh to eat, not that we will tear him apart.

As for John 6:63 and the verses surrounding it, I agree that they meant to correct those who were thinking about what our Lord said in the wrong way (for example, that we would "literally tear him apart" as you suggested). You seem to be thinking about it in an overly carnally way, but the correction does not go so far as to deny the clear teaching that Jesus would give his flesh and blood for the world to eat. If you want more detail on that, read Chrysostom's and Augustine's commentaries on those verses.

No I think of eating his flesh and blood in a very spiritual way and this is to have life in us. The inward life is fed by spiritual meat and spiritual drink as we read all believers of all time have had to eat and drink of Christ

“ 1 Corinthians 10:3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat;4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”

and

“ John 6:48. I am that bread of life.49. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.50. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.51. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.... John 6:55. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.56. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.63. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

“ Jeremiah 15:16. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”

“ Revelation 3:20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

I don't have an issue with you thinking about it in a "very spiritual way". There is a spiritual communion involved in the sacrament. But there is also a literal truth. Most of the sacraments carry a symbolic sense but there is also a literal truth behind them. The water in baptism symbolizes cleansing, but there is also a real cleansing of sins that occurs. The denial of the literal aspect is the issue, not the recognition of the symbolic. When our Lord said that "This is my body" he meant exactly what he said. Have a nice day.

You have the truth friend, but not all of it. Have a nice day.
Hello again,

here’s a verse to consider about all of the truth believers have

2 Peter 1:3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

1 John 2:20. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.”

And here is a verse for you to consider: "This is my body." Have a nice day.
And here is a verse for you ,

1 Corinthians 10:17. For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.”

1 Corinthians 12:27. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”

and Jesus also said many things in types and shadows of spiritual realities like

John 15:1. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.”

is he a vine literally?

John called him a Lamb, is he literally a lamb?

John 1:36. And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!”

Many examples could be shown of this

but when Jesus took the bread and cup at the supper it was obviously a type and symbol of the future event because the New Testament or covenant had not yet come as we read

“ Luke 22:20. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”

And Jesus hadn’t died yet or shed his blood so it was a figure if things to cone as we read as well

. 16 For where atestament is, there mustalso of necessity be thedeath of the testator. 17 Fora testament is of force aftermen are dead: otherwise itis of no strength at all whilethe testator liveth.“

So it must have been a figure and shadow of the reality

Nope. Have a nice day.
And again read carefully and consider

. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force aftermen are dead: otherwise itis of no strength at all while the testator liveth.“

So it must have been a figure and shadow of the reality because Jesus hasn’t shed his blood yet or died

Nope. Two totally different books of the Bible. In Luke the Greek word is used in the sense of "covenant" and it is translated as "covenant" in many Bibles. In Hebrews it is used in sense of a "written will" and the word is translated as "will" in many Bibles.

But I'll give you credit for some nice cherry-picking.

Have a nice day.
