It sure does, huh. Well we are all slaves to Satan's devices if we allow it....it's just hard to recognize when it's his handywork at play sometimes.

Romans 6; we're either slaves to sin or slaves to righteousness

America is such a young country compared to the rest of the world and continues to grow in a positive direction. Making amendments and passing legislation to protect the wrongs of the past.
In 2076 we will be 300 years old...the youngest country in the world....still have many things to work on.
But by God's Grace we will overcome!

This claim is demonstrably false and so far off it boggles my mind. Our neighbors to the north and our neighbors to the south are both younger. Actually, every country in the Americas are younger than the United States.

You are missing the point of the discussion. The question presented is how to Make America Great AGAIN. In order to make it great AGAIN, it would have had to be great at some point in the past. The country was born by taken land occupied by others then enslaving a different race to do the heavy lifting. If you believe any of that is great, then I ask for evidence showing that America was ever great. MAGA is a political slogan, and a poor one at that.
I will agree to disagree with you.
What are your thoughts towards the command God gave to the Israel people to go and possess the land...and at times to fight and war against the enemy killing them and taking their land and possessions?
There is one thing to remember....God's Word prophesied He would raise up a nation that would stand with Israel and who would fight to restore their nation. That was America.
God's Will is done whether we like it or not.

Seriously? South America existed before the U.S. The Spaniards were trading with the Natives long before the English settlers ever arrived.

Canada is much older than 150
Was Canada founded before America?
The two European countries who were most present in Canada were Britain and France. These two countries explored, claimed lands and fought over various places in North America. They then established colonies in the land. The first colony to be established was the colony of Canada, established by France in 1535.

Yes. They were colonies of Spain (or Portugal as was the case for Brazil and France for Canada) not independent nations. And most were much more tightly ruled by Spain than England ever was with the United States. As for when they became independent, United States predates them all.

This thread is already going in the complete opposite direction of where I wanted it to be. Trump is trying to end all of this violence and nobody is letting him do his job. Granted, he's not perfect,.. but I just watched a video where Biden was proclaiming that he has been in office for a hundred and eighty years. Hello!? No offense to him or anything but at least Trump knows what he's doing and Biden can barely remember his own name it seems like. Maybe he's alright personally,.. I don't know,.. but I don't trust him as our president and that's all I know.

Oh my god! Biden said he was in office 180 years? That's a long time, but not quite long enough for him to see the Revolutionary army take over the airports in 1775.

Trump said that there were airports during the revolutionary war. His excuse was that he couldn't read the teleprompter.....you know that thing Trump attacks Biden for using?

I am not referring to when they became independent.....I reference their existence as an established colony with a government....bottom line they existed before the U.S. became a nation governed by the people and for the people.
The U.S.
The first colony was founded at Jamestown, Virginia, in 1607. Many of the people who settled in the New World came to escape religious persecution. The Pilgrims, founders of Plymouth, Massachusetts, arrived in 1620. In both Virginia and Massachusetts, the colonists flourished with some assistance from Native Americans.
Canada
The two European countries who were most present in Canada were Britain and France. These two countries explored, claimed lands and fought over various places in North America. They then established colonies in the land. The first colony to be established was the colony of Canada, established by France in 1535.
South America
The first evidence for the existence of the human race in South America dates back to about 9000 BC, when squashes, chili peppers and beans began to be cultivated for food in the highlands of the Amazon Basin. Pottery evidence further suggests that manioc, which remains a staple food today, was being cultivated as early as 2000 BC.[26]

By 2000 BC, many agrarian communities had been settled throughout the Andes and the surrounding regions. Fishing became a widespread practice along the coast, helping establish fish as a primary source of food. Irrigation systems were also developed at this time, which aided in the rise of an agrarian society.[26]

South American cultures began domesticating llamas, vicuñas, guanacos, and alpacas in the highlands of the Andes circa 3500 BC. Besides their use as sources of meat and wool, these animals were used for transportation of goods.[26]

Pre-Columbian civilizations[edit]
Main article: Pre-Columbian era § South America

The Inca estate of Machu Picchu, Peru is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The rise of plant growing and the subsequent appearance of permanent human settlements allowed for the multiple and overlapping beginnings of civilizations in South America.

One of the earliest known South American civilizations was at Norte Chico, on the central Peruvian coast. Though a pre-ceramic culture, the monumental architecture of Norte Chico is contemporaneous with the pyramids of Ancient Egypt. Norte Chico governing class established a trade network and developed agriculture then followed by Chavín by 900 BC, according to some estimates and archaeological finds. Artifacts were found at a site called Chavín de Huantar in modern Peru at an elevation of 3,177 meters (10,423 ft). Chavín civilization spanned 900 BC to 300 BC.

In the central coast of Peru, around the beginning of the 1st millennium AD, Moche (100 BC – 700 AD, at the northern coast of Peru), Paracas and Nazca (400 BC – 800 AD, Peru) cultures flourished with centralized states with permanent militia improving agriculture through irrigation and new styles of ceramic art. At the Altiplano, Tiahuanaco or Tiwanaku (100 BC – 1200 AD, Bolivia) managed a large commercial network based on religion.

Around the 7th century, both Tiahuanaco and Wari or Huari Empire (600–1200, Central and northern Peru) expanded its influence to all the Andean region, imposing the Huari urbanism and Tiahuanaco religious iconography.

The Muisca were the main indigenous civilization in what is now Colombia. They established the Muisca Confederation of many clans, or cacicazgos, that had a free trade network among themselves. They were goldsmiths and farmers.

Other important Pre-Columbian cultures include: the Cañaris (in south central Ecuador), Chimú Empire (1300–1470, Peruvian northern coast), Chachapoyas, and the Aymaran kingdoms (1000–1450, Western Bolivia and southern Peru). Holding their capital at the great city of Cusco, the Inca civilization dominated the Andes region from 1438 to 1533. Known as Tawantin suyu, and "the land of the four regions," in Quechua, the Inca Empire was highly distinct and developed. Inca rule extended to nearly a hundred linguistic or ethnic communities, some nine to fourteen million people connected by a 25,000 kilometer road system. Cities were built with precise, unmatched stonework, constructed over many levels of mountain terrain. Terrace farming was a useful form of agriculture.

The Mapuche in Central and Southern Chile resisted the European and Chilean settlers, waging the Arauco War for more than 300 years.

In 1494, Portugal and Spain, the two great maritime European powers of that time, on the expectation of new lands being discovered in the west, signed the Treaty of Tordesillas, by which they agreed, with the support of the Pope, that all the land outside Europe should be an exclusive duopoly between the two countries.

South America isn't a country...

Argentina (which is in South America) became a country in 1816.

Brazil (which is in South America) became a country in 1822.

Venezuela (which is in South America) became a country in 1830.

Ecaudor (which is in South America) became a country in 1930.

If we are going by date of colonization as if Europeans moving in are the standard of civilization, San Juan, Puerto Rico was established in 1521 predating anything in Canada.

If you want to argue for pre-Columbian people’s, United States still most likely predates everyone else. Records are bad going this far back but it appears the first humans to arrive in the Americas came across the Bering Strait or possible land bridge at the time and were settling in what is now Alaska before anything else.

Honestly, independent nation is what makes the most sense, since your post states the United States was the youngest “country” (your word).

You didn't say youngest "colony", youngest "country". You referenced when the US became independent (i.e. 1776). That isn't when we were colonized, it's when we became a country.

Comparing when the US became a country to when other areas were colonized is nonsensical, especially when you phrase it as "the US is the youngest country".

You provided a bunch of information, but none of it supports your claim that the US is the youngest country.

Keeping within the rules of this website,.. how do you think that we can accomplish this? Number one I think that it would be for the better to re-elect Trump and just let him do his job. Two,.. start making arrests towards violent people,.. and three stop trying to turn America into a communist country. Does anybody else have any ideas? @RushMAN, @JohnDB?
Teach people to think skeptically. Real skepticism not cynicism.

Now you are making things up. America was never mentioned in the Bible. For the rest you comment, well it is not the topic. Israel did not invade North America and wipe out the native Americans. It was England.

Sorry,.. but I'm done answering silly questions to people who do not wish to listen. Been there, done that, moving on.
I am sorry to read that. Those "silly questions" have been asked for specifics, where you were vague about "rights taken away" by unnamed "them". Asking for specifics is never silly. Besides different of the people who asked "silly questions" provided links to informative sources that could be very useful for you. You will benefit from staying in the conversation. Let your thinking be challenged!

kind regards,
driewerf.
